    PARENT ORIENTATION ON SCHOOL POLICIES AND REGULATION CUM CHILD


    PROTECTION POLICY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

    I. RATIONALE

    As the Opening of classes for School Year 2023-2024 approaches, it is


    important for the parents to know the existing policies and regulations of the school
    for an order and well-coordinated action of the school and the parents. By
    conducting this activity parents will be oriented on the DepEd’s Mission, Vision, and
    Core Values, School’s Curriculum, Classroom rules and regulations, School
    Personnel, Co-Curricular Activities, and Communication Channel.

    This is also the right time in which to conduct Orientation on DepEd’s Child
    Protection Policy to the parents for them to get acquainted with the policy of DepEd
    regarding the protection of child’s right and welfare.

    II. OBJECTIVES

    At the end of the activity, the participants are expected to:

    1. Know the different policies and regulations that governs the school.
    2. Know DepEd’s Child Protection Policy

    III. TARGET PARTICIPANTS

    All Braulio G. Dano Elementary School Parents

    IV. CONTENT

    Day 1
    Session 1 (AM)
     Topics:.
    a. DepEd’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values
    b. Curriculum Overview
    c. Classroom rules and regulations
    d. School Personnel
    e. Co-Curricular Activities
    f. Communication Channel
    Speaker: RALP D. LIBOON, School Head

    Session 2 (PM)
     Topic:
    1. DepEd’s Child Protection Policy
    Speaker: JEZEBEL E. BUENACOSA, Administrative Officer II
    V. IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGIES

    The activity will be done in 1 day, to be facilitated by the School Head and
    Administrative Officer II. The expenses shall be charged to the Canteen/IGP fund.

    The conduct of the orientation will utilize Lecture-Based using multilingual


    attuned to the participants’ level of understanding which is multilingual.

    VI. IMPLEMENTATION METHODOLOGIES

    Lecture-discussion.

    VII. DATE AND VENUE

    The one-day activity will be conducted on August 19, 2023 at Braulio G. Dano
    Elementary School’s Administrative Office.

    VIII. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS

    The budgetary requirements for the activity will be charged from the
    Canteen/IGP Fund.

    Snacks - P 20.00/pax X 35 = P 700.00
