(1) To compensate for airflow losses due to internals, add 20 to 25% to estimated RAMC and round up to next higher RAMC.
(2) Typical air mover’s capacities shown are 24” diam. Jet Fans and 10” diam. Venturis. Performance data for different sizes air movers shall be obtained from each
manufacturer’s data sheets.
(3) Natural ventilation type shall always be used together with mechanical ventilation for initial purging and/or control/removal of contaminants. It shall never be used
as single means for contaminants control/removal or when there is a potential for developing a hazardous atmosphere.
