Opening Program

EMCEE SCRIPT (INSET 2024)

CALL TO ORDER: We'll start the program in a few minutes. We would like to remind everyone to
assemble here at the location so that we can begin our Opening Program so please find a seat and
make yourself comfortable. Thank you.

PRELIMINARIES

SIR JETH: Good morning, gentleladies, and gentlemen. Good morning, Ma'am Lorna.

MA’AM LORNA: Good morning, Sir Jeth!

BOTH: Good morning, TEACHERS and Welcome to the Opening Program of our “Mid-Year Cluster
Based In-Service Training for Teachers 2024”.
SIR JETH: It is that time of year again, my fellow educators: a chance for further professional growth
that should be enjoyable and valuable.
MA’AM LORNA: Yes, Sir Jeth, this training/seminar is a great way for us to stay current on
educational trends and serves as a kind of refresher for us even if we are not actually taking a break
from our duty as classroom instructors. Since we cannot give what we do not have, coming to this
INSET today may be the appropriate choice if we wish to give our students more and deepen our
dedication to teaching. Given the importance of this occasion, let's officially begin by pleading for
divine intervention. This will be followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem via an
audio-visual presentation.

SIR JETH: Kindly take a seat. We are delighted to welcome each one and we would like to express
our heartfelt gratitude for your presence at this memorable occasion. It is indeed a pleasure to have you
all today. To emphasize the importance of this occasion, let us welcome Ma'am Maria Febelyn A. De
Los Santos, for her WELCOME ADDRESS.

MA’AM LORNA: Thank you, Ma'am. We will now recognize the most important people involved
in this occasion. They are the fundamental purpose for the meeting. Who are they? I am referring to
you, teachers! This training would not be feasible without your/our participation. Now we know why
we came here. At this juncture, to formally start our program, let us welcome Ma'am Lorna B.
Villanueva for her OPENING REMARKS. A round of applause please!

SIR JETH: Thank you, Ma’am Lorna. And now, for the Acknowledgement of Participants, may I call
on Ma’am Delia V. Abundo.

MA’AM LORNA: Thank you, Ma'am, for reaching out to us today. Earlier, we were guided in
choosing appropriate goals for our weeklong program. While having identical goals is crucial, it is
also necessary to set the correct expectations so that we can all go in the same direction. So, at this
point, let us lend our ears to the message of the School Head of Cotmo Elementary School, Sir
Auricio A. Padilla Jr. A round of applause please!

SIR JETH: Thank you, Sir. At this juncture, a program is never complete without a Statement of
Purpose and for that, let us welcome, Ma’am Jennefir R. Bayona. A round of applause please!
DAY 3; February 03,

JETH: Good morning everyone! We hope everything’s fine and good. Just relax, listen, grasp ideas,
and take note of information needed for our growth as teachers.

LORNA: That’s right partner. Good day, everyone!

We welcome you to the third day of our INSET. It is such a good day to teach minds, touch hearts
and transform lives.
At this moment, let us officially commence our gathering today by asking divine intervention; be
followed by the singing of our Makabayan Song through Audio-Visual Presentation.

JETH: We all know that every beginning necessitates an end. And every ending is a prelude to
something greater. With that being said, let us listen to a LEARNING INSIGHT to be shared to us by
Ma’am Edna C. Garcia, MTII.

LORNA: That was well said Ma’am Edna. It truly embodies what it is to
.
So, to acknowledge the participants today let us all welcome the our Department Heads and Subject
Group Heads for the Checking of Attendance.

JETH: Thank you dear Department Heads and Subject Group Heads. We often stimulate our
students’ senses to prepare them for the learning process and today we are no different from our
students. We came here today not as teachers or facilitators but as learners. So shall we begin with
few muscle stretches and a bit of dance moves before we start the training? Let us call on our two
active teachers, Ma’am Apple Jade Garlitos and Ma’am Casileen Zalun for the Energizer.

LORNA: We are blessed with a sunny morning as we are amped up with a very engaging and
interesting topic; that today we are here to listen to this talk on “STRESS MANAGEMENT IN THE
WORKPLACE”
The unexpected occurrence of the COVID-19 outbreak has undeniably disrupted the normalcy
of life. Stress has become an important concern in education since the COVID-19 outbreak.
This topic highlights that steps must be undertaken to help us teachers deal with the stress of the

interventions during this pandemic.

Once again, thank you so much everyone and congratulations for a job well done!
