I. PRELIMINARIES

Course Title : ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP IN AN ORGANIZATION
Course Credit : 3 Units
Time Allotment : 3 hrs./ week or 54 hours/semester
Pre-requisite : HBO (Human Behavior in Organization)
Course Description : In this course, students learn the essential attributes of an entrepreneur and the stages that an individual goes through in taking the
seed of an idea growing it onto a successful business. The course will enable the students to acquire leadership skills and knowledge of general management with
entrepreneurial leadership at the core, theoretical understanding and practical application of entrepreneurial leadership through imparting specific knowledge, raise
awareness of business growth, provide growth, provide basic business and scientific/ entrepreneurial leadership skills that are essential for business improvement.

VII. COURSE REQUIREMENT:


Group Project on Entrepreneurial Leader Profiling. Students will form a group of four to six members. The task is to choose and analyze one entrepreneurial
leader from the local business in Nueva Ecija. The group should inform the Instructor which leader from reputable companies that the group has chosen. It is on a
“first come first serve” basis. No duplication of profiling will be allowed. The profiling has to be submitted in a business report to be presented in a 20-minute group
presentation before the end of the semester.

VIII. EVALUATION CRITERIA:


The minimum requirement for a passing grade is 75% from the following composition:

To compute for the FINAL GRADE is Tentative Final Grade multiplied by 2 + the Mid Term Grade divided by 3. Highest passing rate is 1.00 and the lowest is
3.00. Failure to comply with any of aforementioned criteria means a failing grade of 5.00.

IX. CLASSROOM POLICIES

ATTENDANCE
1.1. Students are expected to attend their classes regularly. A student is considered absent from class of he is not present within the first fraction of the scheduled class
time.
1.2. A student is considered late or tardy and shall receive a half absence if he arrives in class during first third fraction of the scheduled class time.
1.3. Students with 3 or more consecutive absences without prior notice or written consent from his/he parents or guardian will automatically be dropped from the class.

UNIFORM
2.1. Students are required to wear proper uniform when attending classes. Male students will wear prescribe polo and slacks pants, black shoes and ID. Female students
will wear prescribed blouse and skirt on knee level, black close shoes with a recommendatory 1-inch heels and ID. On Friday, students should wear the required
departmental shirt of the college.
2.2. Aside from the official uniform mentioned above, no other uniform will accept like PE and NSTP uniforms.
2.3. Students who attended classes not wearing proper and prescribed uniform will be instructed to fill-up some forms in the guidance office and talk to the guidance
coordinator of the college. Their attendance will not be considered but they may still be accepted in the class after they have accomplished the form given by the
guidance coordinator of the college.

Other Norms
3.1 Cheating is any form is not allowed in all the course requirements, like exercise, assignments, quizzes, term exam and research work. As reflected in the student’s
handbook, students caught on cheating will be given an automatic grade of 5.0
3.2 Use of cellphones and tablets is not allowed during classes.
3.3 Students are expected to maintain silence inside the class. Gadgets will be confiscated for a day for those students caught on using such things during classes.
3.4 Students are expected to maintain silence inside the class. If a student is disrupting the class, he may send out of the class room and instructed to fill-up some forms
in the guidance office and talk to the guidance coordinator of the college. His/ Her unruly behavior will be given if found guilty of loitering and unmindful of trash in
his or her surroundings.
3.5 Students should maintain the cleanliness of classrooms. Deduction in the student’s scores will be given if found guilty of loitering and unmindful of trash in his or
her surroundings.
3.6 Eating inside the room while the class is going on are not allowed.
3.7 Special quizzes and late submission of requirements will be allowed only on the condition that the student were sick and presented a medical certificate the
moment he or she get back to school.
