II. Purpose

The Theme for this year’s English Month Celebration is “Reliving the Past and
Embracing the Future Through Philippine Literature.” It aims to empower the young generation
by bringing them back to the past, through literature. This will also encourage them to show
appreciation in the past through Philippine Literature. Activities to be conducted during this
event will help the students to enhance their explorative thinking skills, develop their LSRW
(Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) Skills.

III. Objectives

1. To empower the young generation by bringing them back to the past, through
literature;
2. To enhance the students’ explorative thinking skills, develop their LSRW (Listening,
Speaking, Reading, and Writing) Skills;
3. To encourage students to show appreciation in the past through Philippine Literature.

IV. Rationale

The English Teachers are encouraging the students to participate in the English
Week Celebration 2022. In connection with the Theme: “Reliving the Past and Embracing the
Future Through Philippine Literature,” the following activities will be conducted:

Launching Activities:
(November 21, 2022 – Monday), after the Flag Ceremony.

Time: 7:20 – 7:40 A.M

V. Budget
 An amount of 5 pesos will be collected as contribution from Grade School, Junior High
School, and Senior High School Students, for the expenses of the English Week
Celebration. The expenses will include School Supplies, Certificates, and Sash. A
Contribution letter will be provided to advisers with approval from the Department
Heads.
