DEFINITIONS:

“Contractor Equipment” shall mean all Contractor’s transport, testing, inspection and other equipment, tools,
temporary works and constructions and such other items of a temporary or permanent nature as are required to
execute the Work.
"Contractor Personnel" shall mean all individuals whether employees of the Contractor or not, directly engaged in
the Work under the direct supervision of the Contractor.
"Company Issued Items" means those items, materials and supplies provided by or on behalf of the Company to
the Contractor for the purposes of the Works.

INTRODUCTION / BACKGROUND:
DNO intends to remove the existing pipeline in the RCR loading system from battery limit at Tawke-CPF-refinery
DETAILED SCOPE & QUANTITY DESCRIPTION:

General Notes

1. Contractor to supply all manpower, equipment, materials (if anything specifically requested) tools
and consumables required to complete the works.
2. Contractor to provide manpower histogram for the work with their quotation.
3. Works are located within the Tawke CPF Plant which is an operating plant. Method Statements,
Risk Assessments, loading offloading lifting plan and Permits to Work are required to be
completed, reviewed, and approved prior to the commencement of works. Tool box talk to be
conducted on daily basis for task specific actions and associated risks.
4. Co-ordination with the DNO Construction team is required during the works and confirm if any
shutdown/isolation window is required in liase with Ops/Production/Maintenance.
5. Contractor to provide suitable Performing Authorities for the work carried out, and they shall be
competent in the English language (both verbal and written).
6. Contractor shall provide all suitable certified scaffolding, mechanical isolation, equipment to
carry out the work (Inspected and approved man-basket(s), Hiab, crane, low-bed, cold cutting,
etc)
7. Appropriate cold cutting method is required for cutting all pipes without generating excessive
heat.
8. All Company HSE and QA/QC requirements shall be complied by Contractor.
9. Contractor shall provide all manpower with suitable and proper PPE, multigas detector while
working inside trench or confined space.
10. Any damage to existing asset by Contractor activity will need to be notified immediately and
rectified to Company acceptable level at no cost to Company.
11. ITP, technician certificate to be submitted for company review approval.
12. Handover of complete QA/QC recorders/documents is required prior to work completion
certificate issuance. required documents to be in final dossier.

SCOPE OF WORK

Detailed work scope:

1. Detailed site visit to be carried out in join with DNO once PO awarded.
2. Attached markup and photos for reference.
3. Cable tray near to Tank area to be removed and returned to DNO stores.
4. One end connected with valve to be disconnected and blind it by utilizing blind flange and gasket with
proper flange management.
5. Dismantle and removal of insulation, rock wall, and steel plates around the 6" and 2x 1" pipes and return
back to DNO scrap yard.
6. Utilize a cold cutter to cut the above-ground 6"pipeline into pieces almost (6m) and relocate the
dismantled sections to the designated scrap yard assigned by DNO.
7. Utilize a cold cutter to cut the above-ground 1"pipe into pieces almost (6m) and relocate the dismantled
sections to the designated scrap yard assigned by DNO.
8. Demolish and remove all the pipe rack supports with concrete base (3 m high x 1 m width) as showing in
the photo.
9. remove and relocate all the sleeper supports under the pipe as showing in the photo.
10. other service for area after removing pipe for example housekeeping and minor grading and levelling.
11. Provide adequate temporary pipe support if required.
12. Return to DNO stores re-usable materials such as valves and any other material to be relocated to DNO
designated scrap yard.
13. All required crane, scaffolding, equipment, isolation, manpower to be considered in scope.
14. Traffic management to be planned.
15. PTW with lifting plan to be submitted.
16. No free-issued materials from DNO. Contractor to supply all the required materials.
17. DNO QHSE standard to be followed.
18. Ensure proper housekeeping all times.
