In a few more episodes, we, seniors, will undergo to more difficult tapings and

pictorials because we will encounter a greater production; more actors to be met

and more roles to be performed. And of course, one thing is for is for sure, we are
always the writer of our own story. As for now, let’s congratulate ourselves for we
all have been ongoing so great to make this tale as fulfilling as we want and as
adventurous as we make it. When I made my first step in this school way back my
freshman year, one thing I can’t forget is our innocent selves Just like a blind
man who seeks the right path, looking for the light behind the darkness of that
innocence. In four years of staying here in this institution, I may conclude that
counting the wonderful moments that we shared in our high school days Is an
incredible one. Yes, even giving of any sizes of paper during quizzes, during
breaks and being “papayas’ in front of our teachers, all re considered factors that
made this experience complete and of course, a perfect one. We have
encountered many things as high school students but still our Journey will not
stop after this stage.
And I’m very proud that we never lost hope when failures and disappointments
come to our way. We already did our part being the senior’s because we
defended what we love, and fought for what we believe In. At this Juncture, being
the class President of the seniors, It’s my privilege to pass on the key of
responsibility to you Juniors. Juniors, In few more days, your Job will be o
continue our unfinished tasks as we sail In our respective ships to discover new
oceans. Responsibility Is the key In order for you to succeed. Expect the worst
situation but always strive for the best. Consider such challenges as a blessing.
This will be the start of your time to grow and make your own; we believe that you
can do more than what we have done. In behalf of the seniors, we are thankful
because you are our companion and this year will serve as memories that we will
cherish forever. We hope to see all your spectacular dreams come true. Thank
you and May God bless us all! As Prom Turn over of Responsibility By Moving

TURNOVER OF MANTLE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Guest of Honor and speaker, Principal, Faculty Staff, PTA President and Officers,
Alumni, Parents, Juniors, and fellow Seniors, a pleasant good evening.

This lovely evening of, 8th of February in the year 2014 will be one of the most
memorable events of our life, the integral part of our high school experiences –
the Junior-Senior Prom.

In four years of stay in our beloved Alma Mater, the Sta. Catalina Academy, our
student life here will soon come to an end. This is the realization that we are
leaving high school in the days to come. We, Seniors, will take an important step
into a new stage of our life where greater challenge lies ahead.

Juniors, you are the inheritors of the strong and proud legacy of our school.
Being the next batch of Seniors, you will continue the cycle of high school life.
On your shoulders lies the responsibility of being the role model where
underclassmen will look upon to you as their big brothers and sisters. You will
continue our unfinished tasks as we sail to discover new world. Juniors, strive to
hone your skills and traits of being the leader and role model of the younger
students of our school.
Respect and utilized also the wisdom that you have learned from us, from our
experiences and successes because we have come before you and had crossed
this difficult stage of being the Seniors.

Fellow Seniors, invested me with responsibilities as being the class leader. At

this juncture, it is my honor and privilege to pass on to you, Juniors, the mantle
of responsibilities. We have done our part and it is now the time to relinquished it
on to you.

Each mantle bears the weight of task. Put it on, and carry its weight, and go on
with the journey. We knew that you are willing and able to continue the cycle of
work that we are going to left behind.
This turning over of mantle does not mean that we turned our back toward the
school. It only marks the beginning of our greater responsibility toward our Alma
Mater as well as the community.
We have a vision for our school -- a vision of greatness. I exhort you, all of you,
Juniors to nurture this vision as I passed this mantle of responsibilities on to you.
May each and every one of you will fulfill your roles and commitments with honor,
passion and pride.
