INTRODUCTION:
GARDENS OF GALAXY- Where every step unveils a cosmic surprise.
As our world becomes increasingly connected to the mysteries of the universe, the
design of public spaces takes on a new dimension, calling for environments that
seamlessly blend natural beauty with celestial wonder.
Inspired by a desire to create a unique space where science, education, and natural
beauty harmoniously come together, the concept of Gardens of Galaxy was born.
The idea to establish a Gardens of Galaxy stem from a profound appreciation for the
celestial wonders, such as stars, planets, and galaxies, and the phenomena that occur
beyond Earth's atmosphere. This innovative approach seeks to bridge the gap between
the scientific marvels of the universe and the peacefulness of a garden setting.
AIM:
To design an Astronomical Park, where visitors can engage with and appreciate the
wonders of the cosmos with a deeper understanding of astronomy in a serene setting.
OBJECTIVE:
• To communicate complex astronomical concepts in a clear and accessible manner by
arranging educational programs, workshops, interactive sessions, exhibits and
guided tours for visitors of all ages.
• To preserve and showcase historical artifacts, instruments, and achievements in the
field of astronomy and attract tourists and astronomy enthusiasts.
• To create an optimal stargazing experience and ignite curiosity about celestial
elements and events.
• To make it a place for scientific research, enabling scientists and astronomers to
conduct observations and studies.
• To encourage innovation, technological advancement and inspire interest in Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields.
SCOPE:
• The scope of Garden of Galaxy extends to promote scientific curiosity and education
through interactive exhibits, stargazing facilities, and educational programs for all age
groups.
• The park aims to integrate sustainable practices, attract tourism, and cultivate a sense
of community by creating a unique spaces like Cosmic Theatre, Celestial dome,
Observatory, Exhibits, Zero Gravity zone, etc. where the wonders of the universe
meet terrestrial beauty.
• The scope embraces education, research, environmental conservation, and
community enrichment in the field of astronomy.
LIMITATIONS:
• Astronomical observations are highly dependent on weather conditions. Cloud cover,
atmospheric disturbances, and adverse weather conditions can restrict the visibility
of celestial objects, affecting the park's operational effectiveness.
• The ideal location for an Astronomical Park is often remote to minimize light pollution,
but this can pose challenges in terms of accessibility, infrastructure development, and
attracting visitors.
• While astronomical observations are most effective at night, limited nighttime
operating hours can impact the park's accessibility and visitor experience, particularly
for those who are unable to visit during nighttime hours.
METHODOLOGY:
