The Andaman & Nicobar Islands are a group of beautiful islands in the Bay of Bengal. They are known for their
sandy beaches, blue seas, and amazing wildlife. Get ready for a fun and exciting trip!

a) Mode of Transport
 By Air: You can fly to the Andaman Islands from big cities in India. The airport is in Port Blair, the capital
city of the Andaman Islands.
 By Sea: You can also take a ship from cities like Chennai, Kolkata, and Vizag. It takes about 2-3 days to
reach the islands by ship.

b) Expenses/Days
Our trip will be for 5 days and 4 nights. The cost will be around INR 15,000 per person. This includes your travel,
stay, and some meals. Prices might change a little depending on when we go and what we choose to do.

c) Food and Accommodation
Food:
 You can try yummy seafood and local dishes on the islands.
 There are also places where you can get Indian, Chinese, and other types of food.
Accommodation:
 We will stay in hotels and guest houses that are comfy and have nice views.
 Some places will be near the beach, so you can play in the sand whenever you want!

d) Site-seeing Places
 Radhanagar Beach: A beautiful beach with soft sand and clear water. It's perfect for playing and
swimming.
 Cellular Jail: A place that tells the story of our freedom fighters from long ago.
 Ross Island: Here you can see old buildings from when the British used to live on the islands.
 Havelock Island: A fun place with nice beaches and water activities like snorkeling and scuba diving.
 Neil Island: A peaceful island with clear water and green forests. It's great for relaxing.
 Baratang Island: Check out cool limestone caves and mud volcanoes.

e) Photography & Shopping
Photography:
 The islands are very pretty, so don't forget to take lots of pictures!
 You can take photos of the beaches, the sea, and even some interesting animals and plants.
Shopping:
 Buy cute souvenirs like seashell jewelry and wooden toys.

 Go to the markets in Port Blair to find different things to take back home.

3.Write a short essay (100-120) words on "Value of Time".
"Value of Time" - Short Essay
Time is one of the most precious things in our lives. It is something that we can never get back once it is gone.
That's why it's important to value and use our time wisely. Time can be used for learning new things, spending
with family and friends, or doing activities that we enjoy. When we manage our time well, we can achieve our
goals and be successful in life. On the other hand, if we waste our time, we may miss out on important
opportunities. Therefore, we should always try to make the best use of our time and not procrastinate.
Remember, time waits for no one, so we should make every moment count!
4.Write a humorous poem (8-10 lines) of your own. Include rhyming words, characters of
humans/animal/birds in it. Draw some pictures related to it.
There once was a frog named Joe,
Who loved to put on a show.

He'd hop on a log,
And dance with a dog,
And together they'd steal the whole show!
Next was a bird named Sue,
Who liked to sing,
"Cock-a-doodle-doo!"
With Joe and the dog,
They'd dance in the fog,

5.Write a conversation between Arun and Varun about the success of Chandrayaan 3 launch and the
future plans of ISRO (Adithya L1). for 8th class student
Arun: Hey Varun, did you hear about the success of Chandrayaan 3 launch?
Varun: Yes, Arun! I was so excited to hear the news. It's such a big achievement for India and ISRO!
Arun: Absolutely! The mission was to land on the moon and explore its south pole, and they did it!
Varun: I know, right? It's amazing how ISRO has been making such great strides in space technology.
Arun: Totally! And did you know about ISRO's future plans? They are planning to launch Adithya L1.
Varun: Oh yes, I heard about that. It's going to be India's first mission to study the sun, right?
