At the end of the lesson, the students with at least 80% accuracy will be able
to:
a) identify the different stages of Water Cycle;
b) describe the importance of Water Cycle; and
c) color and label the stages of Water Cycle
A. Stimulating Activity
‘Dora likes to go on adventures with you. Would you like to join
her? She is badly in need of finding the missing words to complete
her task. Would you like to help her with her task?’
Then teacher will group the class into four. Each group will receive one envelope and
try to assemble the missing word. Whoever's group finishes arranging the correct
word will be the winner. The class will be given 2 minutes to arrange the assigned
words.

The teacher will present a picture of a water cycle and discuss the different stages.
The water cycle is important because it is how water reaches plants, animals and us! Besides
providing people, animals and plants with water, it also moves things like nutrients,
pathogens and sediment in and out of aquatic ecosystems.

It is the process of water movement through a plant
and its evaporation from aerial parts, such as
leaves, stems and flowers.
C. Follow-Up
The teacher will present and paste in the different flashcards that contain the different
definitions of words. The students will then try to match the word to its description.
