Everyone approaches goal setting differently and it benefits them in multiple ways. I always set
long term goal and it benefits me in as following ways:
List three goals that you would like to achieve in this year (2022)
In this year, I would like to join for an Interior Designing Diploma course as I have always loved
doing art and remaking spaces and for that I have to be more organized in order to pick up
time. I have already started with my second goal of eating healthy and exercising in weekends.
This has lifted my lifestyle with a positive mood. The third goal is definitely to save more and
have a bank balance than the previous year. As I joined my work in 2021, I was new to being
financially independent and there was a plenty of lists to buy and do which made me with
nothing by the end of the year. I surely don’t want to happen it this time which is why I have
added saving more as my goal.
Three goals that you wish to accomplish by the end of your degree
I am currently doing my Double mains in English and Psychology from St. Joseph College,
Bangalore and I wish to accomplish not just a degree by the end, I hard work and look forward
to complete the degree with good grades. I wanted to learn in depth and know how in my daily
practical life this degree I have devoted can help me with so that I can bring it into reality.
Finally by the end of the degree, I wish to get an opportunity to do my higher studies in Abroad.
How can one work with smart goals? Take one of your Goals and elaborate.
SMART goal by definition is any goal that is Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and
Time-Bound. One can use these parameters while setting their goal and ensure that the
objectives are attainable within a specific time frame. This approach helps to eliminate
generalities and guesswork, sets a transparent timeline and makes it easier to track the
progress and path where it is heading. It also help us to identify the milestone we have missed.
My goal is to have a Branding studio of my own. I have worked in two other such agencies for
the past years and learned from them how they organize and functions. Not in a big shape, but
in the smallest way I have started the studio as a freelance branding online studio even though I
wanted to have a proper licensed studio. I think for the time being, this is fine. I have to work
more and get works from different prominent brands first before I set it big.
I measure it to have around 10-20 employees who also are working currently as freelancers. I
have connected some a lot of freelance graphic designers, photographers, social media
managers and rest through LinkedIn. With the success of three months and having Biba,
AccelQ, Dough Spinner, Amrapali, Tea trunk, Sabrangi, etc as clients I believe I can pitch more
and bring the agency to success in next two years. The media presence and achievement I have
earned in the period gives me confident about why this goal is relevant and can be
accomplished in the time bound.

My first frog is always my inner- person. There is an inner voice whose name or date of birth I
don’t know living inside me. Sometime I hear him, sometimes I doubt and it’s quite natural to
doubt a voice whose presence is in inside and not outside or seen. There are times where I
listen to my own voice first even before I listen to anyone. I understand my thoughts and where
they are coming from more clearly from that voice. That voice helps me to finds the answers
instead of asking someone else.
For a long time I had asked a question while already knowing the answer at least one point in
my life. I was conditioned to doubt, to double check, to need clarification, and to second guess
myself on every thought I had.
I lived through a period where I went hours to several different kinds of therapists and
booklovers, I got my cards read, I went to different counselors, I prayed and went to priestly
places, I started going to yoga, and paying the bills of my hair dresser like she was a blend
between my mom and God. I was in the hunt for answers all over the place and the most ironic
part was that in all places I explored all had the same thing to say. The same thing that they all
said also come about to be entirety I already knew–I just needed someone to prove I was right.
My inner voice is the thing that tells me what to do when my mind is being choked by fear. It
tells me when I am acting out of anxiety rather than reality.
My frog, is my inner voice because it guides and holds my hand and walk beside in the
direction, I am going. It is the voice that picks me up every time I fall saying, let’s go.
It is the thing that knows right from wrong; it is what makes my body ache when I don’t proudly
wear my morals and integrity. It tells me when something is wrong and if it’s time to investigate
or time to flee.
Life is much easy with the inner voice that tells me what is needed more of than what is needed
less of in my life. It holds the most authentic advice and knows me as a person. It truly knows
my pain, joy and everything.
I know inner voice is something that is so underestimated that usually people don’t take it
seriously.
We are humans and we operate best out of faith, we like being specific. We are not taught to
gracefully trust our divine within, we are taught to interrogate it. We are not trained to believe
in our own power, our own guidance, and the part of ourselves that hold everything we think
we need to receive elsewhere.
My frog is within me, it is all about talking less and listening more. I redefined my own inner
faith, and it took a leap of faith in general. It helped me to dive into vulnerability and
uncertainty with the same optimism and hope that miracles are made of.
Everyone can hear their inner voice, but not every person bring to bear enough faith to trust it.
I promise it knows the solution to everything we are in search of.

For me it is the JESUIT EDUCATION that attracts me as a Josephite. The Jesuit Education is one
grounded in the presence of God, and encompasses imagination, emotion and intellect. The
Jesuit vision encourages students to seek the divine in all things- in all peoples and cultures, in
all areas of study and learning and also in every human experience. Jesuit institutions are the
oldest form of institutions. The Jesuits are an apostolic religious community called the society of
Jesus. It is considered to be one of the proudest institutions in Bangalore. IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA
is the founder of the institution. He composed the spiritual exercises to help others follow the
teachings of Jesus Christ. IGNATIUS laid out his original vision for the new order in ‘The formula
of the institute of the society of Jesus. JESUITS are probably most well known for their
educational work. Jesuit educational institutions aim to promote the values of Eloquentia
Perfecta. This is a Jesuit tradition that focuses on cultivating a person as a whole, as one learns
to speak and write for common good. Jesuits have become increasingly involved in works
directed primarily toward social and economic development for the poor and marginalized.
Included in these are research, training, advocacy, and action for human development, as well
as direct services. Most Jesuit schools have an office that fosters social awareness and social
service in the classroom and through extracurricular programs, usually detailed on their
websites. The Jesuits also run over many notable or stand alone social and economic
development centers around the world. Jesuit institution shows immense loves towards Jesus
Christ. The mission of the institution is to seek good in all forms and help others .many Jesuit
institution emerged as an aim of seeking poor people and helping them and spreading the word
of god. The benefits of a Jesuit education are critical thinking skills, we are challenged to be
curious, to ask questions and to solve problems, including the world’s most pressing issues.
They help us to enhance our strength as a leader. And also teaches us to explore our passion for
learning. Jesuit schools are broad based comprehensive and rooted in the liberal arts tradition.
It prepares students for a rapidly changing and diverse society. Maintains an optimistic view of
human nature and of its possibilities. Jesuit values includes the following Cura personalis:
means caring and showing courtesy to people by helping others.it is about having concern and
care for the personal development of the whole person. This implies a dedication to promoting
human dignity and care for the mind, body and spirit of the person. Magi: stands for ‘more ‘. Its
aim is to strive hard for excellence. Magi’s embodies the act of discerning the greater good in a
given situation to better glorify or serve god. It is the value of striving for better, striving for
excellence. Men and women for and with others: this aims at service and for helping others on
behalf of all the persons.it aims at pursuing justice. This value embodies a spirit of giving and
providing service to those in need and standing with the poor and marginalized. Unity of mind
and heart: our hearts and minds are not divided; they are congruent when the whole person is
educated and engaged. this speaks to the diversity of people who go forth to set the world on
fire with the ignition mission all across the world. Contemplative sin action: although we are
thoughtful and philosophical, we do not merely think about social problems. We take action to
address them. Developing the habit of reflection centers and strengthens one’s spiritual life and
guides our actions. Finding good in all things: this may be the one phrase that sums up ignition
spirituality .it invites a person to search for and find god in every circumstances of life; god is
present everywhere and can be found in all of creation. Jesuit education stands different from
others as here we have been taught to use their gifts in a certain way. The five qualities of Jesuit
school graduate are intellectual competence, a loving nature, openness to growth, a spirituality
that tells them they are loved by God no matter their faith background; and a commitment to
pursuing justice. I am proud to be a josephite , josephite’s spirit should always be high, we
always need to be enthusiastic and energetic .When I become a graduate from Joseph's I would
strive hard to bring out the best version of me .One can shine bright and reach great heights in
future.

Self Confidence for me starts with accepting who you are now, not who you want to be. It
comes from the inside. It is a beautiful choice. It’s having faith in in yourself before anyone else,
and nourishing that belief even when you’re struggling. Confidence is the choice to be you and
love yourself nevertheless of what people’s judgments and thoughts are. More essentially,
confidence is vigorous. It’s like a muscle. You have to pick confidence over uncertainty every
day.
As of now, I don’t have an answer to fill in. I am quite in love with myself and confident about
me that I don’t an inferior complex over anything. However, I was insecure about my dressing,
financial stability and a feeling of am behind everyone.
For the past years, this is how I overcame my inferior complexities. I understood that having
self-confidence will wipe away the inferiorities. I started to trust in what I am, what I have and
what I own. I strongly believed that I am enough. It turned be my chanting mantra. Within a
month it started to make me fall in love with myself and my life. I started being more grateful
eventually and appreciated for the person I am. I identified the places where I felt insecure and
my inferiorities were in. I asked myself, Why do I feel insecure about dressing? Is it the society I
am scared of? At the moment, I stopped putting other people on the pedestal. I defined that
my dressing is way of expressing myself and I have the complete right to do it. If am scared of
the societies thoughts and judgements, then surely it will influence my lifestyle that one day I
will regret not living for me.
The next thing I identified was my financial instability which I solved recently by opening a
savings account and doing more work. I stopped filling my cart bag with that random online
shopping site visit; instead I brought things which mattered for me. Those items that were
needed and not wanted.
In the modern digital age, influencers, corporations, and average folks tells us how worthy our
life could be if we just bought whatever they’re wearing or do whatever they’re doing.
I reminded myself that I am just viewing someone’s proven highlight reel. It’s not their daily life.
They still do laundry, get upset at dumb shit, and look less glamorous without make-up and
Instagram filters on the days they haven’t posted. They’re just like me and everyone. They do
have things which they haven’t got yet, maybe they will be also having a depression in financial
side of their life which I haven’t seen.
Once I started to focus on things that make me happy, it made me more confident in my own
abilities and, generally, happier than all-around.
Identifying and solving your insecurities is the only way to gain your confidence and get over
the inferior complexities. Believe that Confidence doesn’t just show up when we succeed. We
only start to see success when we are confident because we know we deserve success.
Inferiority can’t get us anywhere; it will stop us from how big we could be if we had loved our
self a little more.

Highlight any two qualities of a good leader you think is important and why?
Today, leadership is a term that drenches our daily lives — we overhear it on the media, on the
internet, in conversations that surround our dinner tables, and in chats that happen in our
veranda.
What makes a great leader — in business, in school, in a team, in politics and most importantly,
in life?
We’re constantly redefining and revising that. Being a good leader is something that always fills
my opinions, which I suppose is only natural given my line of work — I am a writer, student, and
editor in chief. Leadership is an essential part of my work.
He should be someone who is led by compass, not by the time. We are always in a rush to make
things happen even though we know things that come easily will leave us quickly. We often try
to find the stress-free way to make the extreme gain in the shortest of time. In the short-run it
may work but it won’t take its shape in the all perfect way. In the long-run it rarely ever roasts
out. Effective leaders are those who pick an end goal, create a road map, relay the message and
work the plan out. They are optimistic, determined and hard working. Failure is not an end term
but a beginning to start with other method for them.
This quality is really what makes a leader effective. A good leader should be always committed
to their cause and adapt when required. Commitment means pushing themselves and their
team through things even when they lack motivation to do so. Adaptation comes about by
understanding where they had gone wrong and creating the necessary corrections. If a person
can commit and adapt he will always put himself in the position of learning new things and
experiencing challenging stuffs. The more an individual learn, the more willing will be others to
follow him. And so it is necessary for a good leader to learn all the corners of his subject. He
should be open and accepting enough to welcome ideas from his team members.
This point is by far the most central aspect of great leadership. A standard shift is when you
bring variation on basic assumptions. For example when you make a team of not much efficient
people but believe that they are and have been the best all along. It may not be right in nature
but it is made true in perception. Perception creates reality. If the leader can change other
people’s perceptions then he will change the current state of reality.
A leader should make people feel connected to a worthy cause and believe in them more than
they believe in themselves; this will bring a good team ahead with the best purposes.
A leader is not born, they are often made. They strive to be positive even under the stressful
pressure. We don’t know what all qualities can bring a good leader sometimes but we surely
know what makes a bad leader and it is all about thinking yourself to work under you as a
leader and being that.

The thing about Dead Poets Society is that it gives its importance to art more than the story.
There are just literal scenes of simply an idle car passing through the morning while a boy on a
bicycle rings his bells as he circles around — into the camera frame and then out of. Just
unbelievably captured. The cinematography along with its wonderful soundtrack is
breathtaking. As I have watched and re-watched the movie, I have always waited for the two,
for the goose bumps that the movie gives every five minutes anyway.
But if I'll say this once, I'll say this twice — you haven't seen the entire movie until you have
seen all of the deleted scenes. Art more than story, remember? So if you have ever thought
about why Knox and the gang knew about Chad who didn't study in their school (he was kicked
out), or why Chris had to go see the play anyway (Chad's sister was in it), or what happens
when they come back from seeing the play (Keating meets them at the cave). Yeah, it is must
needed to watch the deleted scenes too.
But this isn't about complaining where the story ignores it is elements. I love the movie because
of its charismatic devil-may-care attitude to storytelling. It's amazing. But my favorite scene is
one of those deleted ones too and of course the conversation between Robin and Todd, I mean
the teacher and the student.
The student says he didn’t did his homework instead of punishing him the teacher writes a
quote on the board and later calls him to the front space of the classroom. Pointing out on a
picture of an old man he asks the student to describe that photo. Here the teacher is showing
the student his talents inside. He is making him realize that he has an imagination power and
that he is truly capable of writing poem.
It is inspiring to see how the teacher drives his student to open his imagination. I especially like
that little break in Robin's engagement. He hears the judgment of others and panics, knowing
that public opinion are the driving force in keeping others from being themselves. He quickly
gets Ethan back into the mindset, keeps the flame burning before the gust of mockery can snuff
it out.
The teacher also gives him the confidence to speak in public by encouraging and cheering him
by saying, louder -- louder -- let them hear you. In the far corners of the world, let them hear
you. In the ancient chambers of your inherited shame, let them hear you. Despite all your self-
judgment and fear and pride, let them hear you.
He is truly a masterpiece to how teachers should be. It gives me chill to watch the scene over
and over. We can see a confused shy student trying more than his extends and discovering his
own talents. I loved this scene and it inspires me to dig inside me to seek what I am searching
for.

Create a self-care plan that involves caring for physical body’s needs and the inner self.
Self-care is of course, at the most simple level to treat you. Allow yourself to have that spa day.
Freeing you to eat a bowl of pasta or a whole pizza. It’s letting yourself show and get that pair
of shoes, or that book you’ve wanted to read, or that blanket you’ve been dreaming of cuddling
up in and forgetting the world.
My self-care plans involve both caring for my physical body and at the same time meeting the
needs of my inner self. When asked to create a plan, It will be as follows:
1. Unfollow anyone who makes you feel anything less than inspired, invested and happy to
be what you are. Social media these days have a bigger impact on our inner self which is
why it is good to follow people who in somewhat way help you to be better and raw.
Stop positioning and posing for pictures and take snaps of things as they’re happening. If
your life isn’t exciting enough to do that, your life is the problem, not your Instagram
feed.
2. Progress things in slight increments. Try to drink an extra cup of water. Go to the gym
and walk on the treadmill for some extra minutes, and go to sleep earlier than normal.
Gently adjust to new rules, and build energy.
3. Do Skin care, Open a savings account, Buy good clothes and fragrance yourself. Do
things that makes you feel special to you.
4. Write down. Maintain a journal. Write out everything on how you spend each week with
each person.
5. Stop talking about the things you don’t have in life and focus on what you have and
what is needed rather than what is wanted. Be grateful for the little things and roof you
have above your head.
6. Embrace being ordinary and different from others.
7. Stop engaging in arguments with people who doesn’t understand or can maintain a
good communication.
8. Learn to be more humble and do little kind things. Karma is a real thing and being in the
good books will always profit you with goodness.
9. Spend time in nature and with people around than living inside the digital screen.
Self-care is doing what you love and giving a damn about what other people will think about
you. It is knowing the balance and walking that line between taking care of you and adoring life
and going overboard. Know your bounds and flaws. Self-care is accepting your imperfections
and working on them. Knowing your worth and making the most out of it. Don’t settle for the
less. Demanding what you need and take what you want because each of us is born deserving
everything. Realize your dream and peruse it. Give priorities to your dreams, built a career that
no one can dream of, own things you wished.
Self-care is also hard working to get your goals and live a dream life.

I don’t have a plan as I haven’t chosen a destiny to travel; maybe I just want to flow as it is and
reach the destiny where I am supposed to. I would allow myself to exist as boldly and honestly
as I can. I will look back on this time, see the magic, feel grateful and applaud for how far I have
come despite feeling stuck right now. I will see that within uncertainty was also potential, and
within what is lost lies the opportunity to be found and within discomfort comes the chance to
see through what needed to be changed, and changing it has made me the person I am meant
to be.
Timeline the event that is prepared to reach where you want to see yourself?
Time is an illusion for me. It is the process that matters. Everything important and worth doing
often meet us slowly and that comes instantly leave us quickly. I will wait for things to happen
their way rather than forcing them.
List the resources identified and the required task to attain it?
The resources I identified is my will power, soul, happiness and courage to exist the way. As of
now, I don’t require a task as I am moving in the finest path. I will believe in the journey as it
serves me with a purpose that I either have recognized or simply happened unrecognized.
List out the resource you have and the work you need to work on.
I have the resource to believe in myself, trust the process, and meditate more of myself to
watch the slow growth. I have to work more on passing this happy mantra of existing to others
who are living a desperate and anxious life because maybe life is about seeding an unknown
milli love in every ounce. It is not about planning to be seen in a particular way as one graduate
or get married, it is about becoming who you are instead of maintaining who you aren’t and
feeling life as it is.

The session was good with the content. I love how motivating the content was. The one thing I
have learned in today’s session is to be myself and I will try to know myself more. I will turn
away the expectation that if I work on myself enough, I won’t struggle anymore and accept that
if I work on myself enough, I will understand what the struggle is for. I will see as much as good
in my life as I do in everyone’s and change life forever.
I will apply this session in my daily life in all ways so that I can live a less judgmental life where I
won’t compare myself with others and simply be me. This will help me to be grateful for what I
have and in regards of manifestation; I believe there is plan for our lives, I believe in prayer, I
believe god hears us when we talk to him and I know he speaks back, I believe in miracles and
believe in wonder, I believe honest work produces good fruit, I believe in hope and I believe
that life serves both ridiculously breathtaking and heartbreaking things. I believe in darkness
but believe light conquers. I believe if we seek we will find and life is beautiful. These believes
are from my concentric heart and I truly believe this is what makes me.
Ms. Ami Joshi’s session provoked me to believe in them more strongly and exist in what and
who I am. More than the content, what inspired me was her courage to come in front of the
camera and express herself. All the sessions I had in the day was like hearing a radio where we
weren’t had an opportunity to see who is on the other side of the screen. I will own up to have
the courage she had to express myself, because maybe it is only you who will stand and voice
out for you. It isn’t your physical appearance that people will take in care of; it is what you did
and how you spent your time with them.
I was truly shaken on how confident she was with herself. This is what I took with my heart
about the session and I definitely think this is what impacted me more.
Self-confidence will take you to heights and this lesson will have a great impact in my life. I
believe it have the potential to bring a change in my life. The session also gave a reflection on
mental health and well-being. It spoke on the importance of our mental state. In today’s time it
is important to care for mental well-being as much as we care for our physical health.
