then pay.
if u wanna use DB to check timetable
(basically it can keep track all sorts of
transport in germany and austria)
if u want to go to the lake first, get off one
stop before jennerbahn (königsee).
if wanna hike first, get off at jennerbahn. (fyi
its walking distance between these 2 stops)
TOILET TIPS: there is a super clean toilet
inside the ski centre at jennerbahn,
make sure u don’t go the public one in
königsee lollll
FOOD: i actually don’t really think theres gd
food in königsee but consider that u have to
eat and stay there for whole day, theres one
german restaurant near the boat ticket shop,
a pancake dish called Kaiserschmarrn is quite
gd. but i bet they hv that too in austrian
restuarant too but i m not too sure (not in
Salzburg tho as i rmb).
• Timetable of the bus (for ur ref only….but still better for u
to check on the DB app. the bus to and back to salzburg
aren’t that frequent…)

kursbuch/mdb_280614_841_211018.pdf

• sonntag means sunday, Montag bis Freitag = mon to fri,

Samstag = sat. i rmb 841 n 840 both can go back.
hiking trail i walked from jennerbahn (reli recommend)

when u reach the skiing place, u

will see a path on the left of the
centre, thats the starting pt,
theres only one path to go if u walk
towards the lake direction…its a
round path so in the end u will
reach back the lake.

btw theres a tiny hill in

salzburg too u can walk up
instead of taking cable
cars, that cable car really
not that worth….
main stuff in here
Hallstatt hike
• theres one tiring hike
(alpine), hike at ur own
risk ah coz that one not end pt
easy, but i think its
worth it a lot

• green line: theres a

route from main hallstatt
to the midpt of the trail
so u don’t need to walk
down to the saltine
(start pt) which is quite
tiring…its not shown on
map but eventually u
will find it out coz
hallstatt super small
start pt
can buy ticket first from
Hallstatt OBB app on phone. similar
layout as DB
