Wincc Flexible 2008 Runtime-Connection

The document provides instructions for connecting a PC running WinCC flexible Runtime to various controllers. The PC can connect to controllers via a communication processor or COM ports 1-4. The connections require specific hardware depending on the controller type, such as a CP 5511 module for a SIMATIC S7 via PROFIBUS DP connection. Common controller connections include SIMATIC S7 via PPI or MPI using a CP module or adapter. The PC must meet the manufacturer's requirements for electrical installation of communication hardware.
