App Store Connect

The app version was rejected by Apple for two reasons: 1. The screenshots did not accurately reflect how the app looks and functions on the supported devices. The iPad screenshots showed iPhone frames. 2. The app was not published under a seller and company name associated with the organization providing the services (REC India). The developer was instructed to update the screenshots to clearly showcase the app's features on the correct devices. They were also told to publish the app under the REC India seller name to demonstrate it is properly managed by the intended organization. Providing inaccurate screenshots or publishing under an unrelated name could mislead users, so these issues need to be addressed for Apple to approve the app version.

Guideline 2.3.3 - Performance - Accurate Metadata

We noticed that your screenshots do not sufficiently show your app in use. Specifically, your iPad Pro (2nd Gen) and iPad Pro (6th Gen) screenshots show an iPhone
device frame.

To help users understand your app’s functionality and value, your screenshots should highlight your app's core concept. For example, a gaming app should feature
screenshots that capture actual gameplay within the app.

Next Steps

Please revise your screenshots to ensure that they accurately reflect the app in use on the supported devices.

Keep in mind the following requirements:

- Marketing or promotional materials that do not reflect the UI of the app are not appropriate for screenshots.
- The majority of the screenshots should highlight your app's main features and functionality.
- Confirm that your app looks and behaves identically in all languages and on all supported devices.
- Make sure that the screenshots show your app in use on the correct device. For example, iPhone screenshots should be taken on iPhone, not on iPad.

Guideline 5.1.1 - Legal - Privacy - Data Collection and Storage

We found in our review that your app does not meet all of our requirements for apps that offer highly regulated services or handle sensitive user data. Specifically:

- The app must be published under a seller and company name that is associated with the organization or company providing the services. In this case, your app
must be published under a seller name and company name that reflects the REC India name.

The guideline 5.1.1(ix) requirements give App Store users confidence that apps operating in highly regulated fields or that require sensitive user information are
qualified to provide these services and will responsibly manage their data.

Next Steps

To resolve this issue, it would be appropriate to take the following steps:

- Your app must be published under a seller name and company name that reflects the REC India name. If you have developed this app on behalf of a client, you may
resubmit the app through their account, if they have one. You may also request an update to the company name on your account by having the Team Agent edit the
account information.

Please note that you cannot resolve this issue with documentation showing permission to publish this app on behalf of the content owner or institution.

Resources

- Request a fee waiver for nonprofit organizations, accredited educational institutions, or government entities.
Please see attached screenshot for details.

Dear Apple Team ,

I appreciate your prompt response regarding the review of our app, and I would like to address the concerns raised in your previous message regarding the seller and
company name associated with the app publication.
First and foremost, I want to emphasize our commitment to adhering to all guidelines set forth by the App Store. The app in question has been developed in
collaboration with our esteemed client, REC India, pursuant to a tender that we were awarded to provide them with a solution that aligns with their requirements.
I understand that the requirement for the app to be published under a seller and company name associated with REC India is an important guideline to ensure
transparency, trust, and responsible management of sensitive user information. While we acknowledge the significance of this guideline, I kindly request your
consideration of the unique circumstances surrounding the app's development and publication process.
Our intention is to ensure that the app's identity aligns seamlessly with REC India, and as per the client's request, we are fully prepared to transition the app to their
account once it has been successfully published. This approach allows REC India to maintain control and ownership of their app while still benefiting from our
technical expertise in the development and initial publication stages.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We value our relationship with the App Store and are dedicated to delivering the highest quality and compliance in all our
app submissions. We look forward to your positive response and the opportunity to ensure a successful and compliant app publication.
