Introduction:

Graduation is one of the most awaited days in the school calendar for students,
parents, and teachers as well. It ends a chapter in once academic journey and marks the
beginning of a new one. It is a reminder to students that they have again made a giant
leap towards their dreams and goals in life.
Today, we acknowledge and celebrate every step taken and every hurdle
conquered. It is indeed a day of rejoicing and thanksgiving for we are truly blessed with
this opportunity to gather and witness the culmination of more than 6 years of
challenging work and constant pursuit of knowledge.
Good afternoon and welcome to Tugbungan Elementary School’s 73rd Graduation
Rites for this academic year 2022-2023 with the theme, “ K to 12 Graduates: Molded
through a resilient educational foundation”. I am Jeanne Pauline Acosta your Master of
Ceremonies for today.

To begin with, we shall have the processional.


Processional:
Ladies and gentlemen, the incredible individuals who embodies knowledge,
passion and dedication in the pursuit of excellence in education, the grade 6 teachers
spearheaded by their grade level head, Ma’am Irene E. Alabata.

At the heart of our institution is a leader who possesses not only expertise and experience but
also the passion and dedication to lead the way to greatness. The Elementary School Principal IV
of Tugbungan Elementary School, Dr. Ronald F. Aba-a together with our guest speaker, the Chief
Officer III of the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Mr. Alexander Jikiri.
Entrance of Colors:
The entrance of colors by the cadets of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University.
Preliminaries:
Let us show our deference by standing still as we sing the Philippine National Anthem with
Maam Rowena T. Enriquez conducting and let us seek divine intervention through a song
entitled, “Panalangin” followed by the singing of Zamboanga Hermosa.
Welcome Address:
To set the tone for this afternoon’s event let us welcome Shane Gilliane R. Bautista, with high
honors of Grade VI-Concepcion class for the Welcome Address.
Lighting of Candles:
This time, we shall have the lighting of candles for our graduates, spearheaded by our Principal
Dr. Ronald F. Aba-a together with the Tugbungan Elementary School Faculty.
The mother candle will be lit by Dr. Ronald F. Aba-a and the small candles will be lit by the
teachers of Tugbungan Elementary School.
The lighting of candles symbolizes bringing light to our wishes, desires and prayers. We offer
these candle lights as a request for guidance, wisdom and bright future for our dear graduates,
that you may achieve all your aspirations in life and as you open a bigger door of opportunities,
may you continue to uphold and instill the good values you have learned from your alma mater.
Presentation & Confirmation of Graduates:
At this point, our very own Elementary School Principal IV, Dr. Ronald F. Aba-a will do the
honor in presenting the candidates for graduation. This is to be followed by the acceptance and
confirmation by our (Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Majarani M. Jacinto, CESO V.)

Let us give our utmost felicitation to the graduates of Batch 2023. A round of applause please.
Distribution of Certificates:
Dear Graduates, the moment that you have all been waiting for has finally come. You will now
harvest the fruit of your hard work, you will now receive your prized certificate.
May I request, our (Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Majarani M. Jacinto, CESO
V)/___________________________________________________________________________
to be assisted by Dr. Ronald F. Aba-a, Elementary School Principal IV in the distribution of
certificates.

Awarding of Medals:
At this juncture, let us welcome Dr. Ronald F. Aba-a, for the awarding of medals and certificates
to the graduates with distinction for the school year 2022-2023 and this is to be assisted by
Ma’am Irene Alabata, the Grade VI level head.

With a general weighted average of 98%, with highest honors- FHRINZ P. MESIONA.
The medallion is to be donned by the mother, Mrs. Heicel P. Mesiona.

He will also receive a medal for conduct award, and once again this will be donned by the
mother, Mrs. Heicel P. Mesiona.

Excellence Performance is also awarded to Fhrinz P. Mesiona. The medallion is donated


by the Universidad de Zamboanga, and this will be donned by the father, Mr. Fidel F.
Mesiona.

Introduction of the Speaker:
This year’s graduation theme is “K-12 Graduates: Molded through a resilient educational
foundation”. Through education, individuals acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are
essential for personal and professional success. TugES graduates have faced and overcome
various obstacles and challenges in their more than 6 years journey in elementary education.
They have been exposed, both inside and outside the classroom, which have helped shape their
character to continuously learn in a rapidly changing world.
To talk more about the theme, we invited a very special guest to inspire all of us. And to
introduce our Guest Speaker, let us welcome back on stage our dear principal Dr. Ronald F. Aba-
a.

Awarding of Certificate of Appreciation to the Speaker:


Thank you so much sir for coming over, gracing our affair and inspiring all of us. Sir, please
remain on stage as we award this Certificate of Appreciation for your presence and a simple
token as symbol of gratitude for sparing us your time. May we request our school head to come
up stage and do the honor. Please allow me to read the citation.
Another warm, round of applause for our guest speaker. Thank you once again.

Words of Gratitude:
This time, let us give our undivided attention to Fhrinz P. Mesiona with Highest Honors of Grade
VI-Concepcion class for his words of gratitude.

Now let us call in Micaella R. Marquez, with high honor to lead the pledge of loyalty. Please
stand.
Graduation Song:
At this moment, the graduates will sing their graduation song entitled, “Long Live”
Long live the dreamers, the believers, the ones who dare to reach for the stars. Long live the
fighters, the survivors. TugES Graduates of Batch 2023, no matter what the world will say, keep
on shining wherever you are.
Alumni’s Oath:
Please remain standing and let us welcome once again our guest speaker Mr. Alexander Jikiri to
spearhead the Alumni’s Oath.
Closing Song:
As we part ways and bid our goodbyes, the batch 2023 graduates will render a song as a tribute
to their parents and guardians for their undying love and support to our graduates, the song is
entitled MAPA.
Acknowledgement:
Now, let us call in Dr. Ronald F. Aba-a, Tugbungan Elementary School Principal IV for his
acknowledgement.

It is truly a remarkable day filled with joy, nostalgia, and anticipation for the future. As we reflect
on the memories and experiences shared throughout the years, there’s one thing that has always
remained constant- music. Tonight, we have a special musical performance prepared for you. It’s
a song that perfectly encapsulates the essence of this moment and the incredible journey that lies
ahead for our graduates. Without futher ado, ladies and gentlemen, the champion for the SOLO
Kundiman in the 9th National Performing Arts Festival, with highest honors, Fhrinz P. Mesiona.

MOB Dance:
Before we finally end this program, we will witness our graduates come together to showcase
their talents and bring this vibrant tradition to life for a MOB Dance.

The closing hours has finally arrived, let us celebrate this incredible milestone with joy, laughter
and overwhelming sense of pride. To you graduates, embrace the challenges that lie ahead, for
they are the steppingstones to greatness. Congratulations, Class of 2023!
Ladies and Gentlemen, this concludes the 73rd Graduation Rites of Tugbungan Elementary
School. We shall now have the recessional.
