TOPIC: Examine the impact of influencer marketing on

developing brand image through social media.
It can be stated that influencer marketing has contributed to the
development of brands and thus has placed a high value on
branding through social media campaigns. The achievement of
social media influencer marketing can be interpreted based on
the following factors: the influencer’s impact on the brand and
customer, the successful communications of influencer
marketing, and the development of influencer marketing in the
near future.
What is the thesis? What is the essay plan?

TOPIC: Students’ increasing use of social media negatively

impacts their academic performance. To what extent is that
true?

ACADEMIC ESSAY: THESIS ESSENTIALS
❏ The essay topic orients all the body paragraphs and thesis statement.
❏ Thesis statement gives unity to the essay. It is followed by the essay
outline which explains the writer’s main points and plan of the essay.
❏ Thesis statement limits what will be covered in the essay.
❏ Thesis statement indicates a general view on the topic. Then, the body
illustrates the thesis statement logically and proves it credible with
evidence and references.
❏ Body paragraphs adhere to the sequence of ideas outlined in the essay
intro. The body paragraphs develop the ideas of different aspects of the
essay thesis.
