I. PRAYER
Moderator: Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen. May I request everyone to please stand for our prayer to be
followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem.
Please be seated.
INTRODUCTION OF JUDGES
1. Our first judge is a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics at Taguig City University
in 2019.
DESCRIPTION:
Currently teaching Technology and Livelihood Education subject in Junior High School Department.
2. Our second judge is a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Social Studies at Rizal Technological
University in 2019
DESCRIPTION:
He was awarded as the Most Outstanding Rotaractor in the Rotaract Club of RTU in 2019.
And is currently teaching Araling Panlipunan subject in Junior High School Department.
3. Last, but not the least, our third judge is a Licensed Professional Teacher.
DESCRIPTION:
She graduated in Taguig City University school year 2018 with the degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major
in English.
Right now, she is currently teaching English subject in Junior High School Department.

Moderator: To the audiences, as soon as the debate starts, you are no longer allowed to stand and transfer
seats. Please do avoid shouting and creating unnecessary noise. You may just clap your hands if you
wish to express yourselves.
Moderator: Before we finally start, may I just remind the debaters about the rules of this match.
Using foul words and disrespectful gestures such as, but not limited to, pointing and shouting
are strictly prohibited.
Calling your opponent on his/her FIRST NAME is also not allowed. You may address them as
Mr./Ms. Speaker or on their Last Name (for example: Mr./Ms. Aportadera)
Interpellation questions should be answerable by YES OR NO.
Giving remarks should be avoided as much as possible. And;
Coaching your teammate while being cross-examined should not be done.
Moderator: The first debater will be given four (5) minutes to deliver his/her constructive speech and two (3)
minutes to cross-examine his/her opponent. In order to manage the timing, at the lapse of first and
last 1 minute, the timekeeper will ring the bell. And when the time has finally elapsed he will once
again ring the bell. The same rules will apply to the second and third debaters.
And since the burden of the Rebuttal is on the Negative Side, they will be the first one to deliver the
rebuttal speech which will also be allotted four (5) minutes. It will follow with the summary of both
team captains, leading by the Affirmative side.
V. DEBATE PROPER
Moderator: DEBATING ON THE MOTION. Let it be resolved that the next administration should continue the
implementation of the war on drugs policy of the current government.
Let us welcome the first speaker of the Affirmative Side to deliver his/her necessity speech.
May I call on the First Speaker of the Negative Side to cross-examine his/her opponent.
And now, let us hear from the first speaker of the Negative Side. You have 5 minutes to prove that
the next administration should continue the implementation of the war on drugs policy of the
current government not be necessary.
Once again, the first speaker of the Affirmative Side to interpellate his/her opponent. You have 3
minutes.
May I call in the second speaker of the Affirmative Side to deliver his/her constructive speech.
Mr./Ms. Speaker you have 5 minutes to argue that the implementation of the war on drugs policy of
the current government is beneficial to continue in the next administration..
Now let us welcome again the second speaker of the Negative Side to deliver his/her Non-
Beneficiality Speech.
Once again, may I call in the second speaker of the Affirmative Side to cross examine his/her
opponent.
Now let us welcome the last speaker of the Affirmative Side and the team captain of their team
to deliver her Practicability Speech. You have 5 minutes to argue that it is practical to continue the
implementation of the war on drugs policy of the current government in the next administration.
May I call in the last speaker of the Negative Side and the team captain of their team to
interpellate his/her opponent.
Let us welcome, the non-practicability speaker of the Negative Side, you have 5 minutes to deliver
your constructive speech.
Once again, the last speaker of the Affirmative Side to interpellate his/her opponent.
Judges and audience let us have a 5-minutes break and after that, the three speakers of each side
shall deliver their rebuttal speeches.
May I call in the First Speaker of the Negative Side to deliver his/her Rebuttal Speech. Mr/Ms
Speaker, you have 5 minutes.
May I call in the First Speaker of the Affirmative to deliver his/her Rebuttal Speech Mr/Ms Speaker,
you have 5 minutes.
May I call in the Second Speaker of the Negative Side to deliver his/her Rebuttal Speech. Mr/Ms
Speaker, you have 5 minutes.
May I call in the Second Speaker of the Affirmative Side to deliver his/her Rebuttal Speech. Mr/Ms
Speaker, you have 5 minutes.
May I call in the Third Speaker of the Negative Side to deliver his/her Rebuttal Speech. Mr/Ms
Speaker, you have 5 minutes.
May I call in the Third Speaker of the Affirmative Side to deliver his/her Rebuttal Speech. Mr/Ms
Speaker, you have 5 minutes.
At this juncture, the Team Captain of each team will deliver their over-all summary speech based
upon the constructive speeches and interpellation, rebuttal of each member in the team.
May I call in the Team Captain of the Affirmative Side to deliver his/her Summary Speech, you have
5 minutes.
And that end our debate for today. We would like to invite both parties to be at the center and
bows to each other as we tabulate the scores.
