SCHOOL BASED SCOUTING MOVEMENT PROPOSAL

TITLE: JOINT BANDERA ES BSP/GSP CAMPORAL-ENCAMPMENT

I. RATIONALE
Scouting plays an important part in the life of every school child. Pupils learn and acquire
knowledge as they join the Scouting Movement. They gain skills and experiences which can be applied to
real-life-situations.
This school encampment is an aid for the pupils to develop good values and explore life outside their
home and enjoy the company with the people around them. It can also help the pupils to develop physically
and mentally.

II. OBJECTIVES:
This School Based Encampment aims:
 To instill and to live scout ideals among scouts and scouters.
 To prepare the pupils to become agents of change in communities, guided by the Scout Oath
and Law.
 To enhance camaraderie with the other members of his/her patrol.
 To learn and experience varied and interesting activities
 To gain skills for survival.
 To develop values which can mold one’s personality.

III. TARGET PARTICIPANTS:

8 Teachers 32 Girl scouts
1 School Head 16 Kab scouts
32 Boy scouts 16 Star Scouts
32 Girl scouts
