After a long and productive first day session of the 2nd Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam Buddhist
Summit, we meet here again today at the beautiful Samten Hills for the second and also the last
day of the summit. We'd like to begin by expressing our deepest gratitude to all our esteemed
leaders, distinguished guests, and participants for joining us on this crucial journey towards
environmental sustainability guided by the wisdom of Buddhism.

It is my distinct honor to introduce the first speaker of today's session, the esteemed Most Ven.
Dr. Thich Nhat Tu, Permanent Vice Rector of Vietnam Buddhist University in Ho Chi Minh
City. A renowned scholar and leader, Most Ven. Dr. Thich Nhat Tu has played a pivotal role in
advancing Buddhist education and promoting harmony within our communities. With immense
pleasure, I invite him to deliver the opening welcome address.

The second Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam Buddhist Summit is an open and prestigious

more and more complicated. For that reason, the On the 1st Day of the summit, we have read the
