TB Alert India (TBAI) is a not-for-profit organization with a vision to make India free from TB. It has a
strong presence in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi. All projects of TBAI aim to
supplement the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP), mobilize, and link local
communities in the fight against TB.
TBAI is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with outstanding credentials and experience in
TB control or a similar field.
Position Responsibilities: In this capacity, the State Lead will be tasked with overseeing the seamless,
end-to-end execution of project activities within the state and ensuring the delivery of high-quality
services to patients in need of care. The major responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:
Skills:
1. Ability to guide and mentor teams and provide regular support through field visits, training during
weekly/monthly/Qly reviews.
2. Excellent understanding on local context, practices and ability to liaise with internal and external
stakeholders
3. Ability to anticipate challenges and initiate appropriate actions
4. Understanding on project planning, review and strategy development and data management
1. Overall responsible and lead the project implementation at the state level as per the project
guidelines and action plan
2. Function as Head of Operations team to implement the project and directly supervise district-
level staff, including management, administrative, and field staff.
3. Develop field level strategies and processes in alignment with overall project objectives with an
initiative geared towards operational excellence
4. Engage with key stakeholders who include the Donor, State/District TB Officials and WHO
Consultants and other concerned public and private stakeholders/officials
5. Represent TB Alert India in all key state/district/city level TB meetings and training
6. Coordinate and provide supportive guidance to District level staff and ensure monitoring of
activities
7. Provide technical and tactical support to the team to improve the quality of implementation
8. Undertake regular programmatic reviews and support team in course corrections
9. Support other state level staff in coordinating with NTEP State-level officers to ensure
uninterrupted services to TB patients of both public and private sectors
10. Backstopping support to District Leads in engaging DTOs and other officials
11. Provide hand-holding and carry out team building activities
12. Carry out monitoring visits to validate randomly reported data from the field
13. Attend and contribute to donor review meetings
14. Establish linkages and strengthen networking and liaison with government health departments,
private health care providers and other stakeholders to foster support for effective
implementation of the project deliverable.
15. Preparation of work plan, budget forecast and management of budget allocation as per the
project activities and guidelines

16. Ensure functional coordination involving program, MIS and Finance team while planning, and
execution and reporting.
17. Ensure effective finance and Human Resource management as per the planned activities.
18. Facilitate in monitoring and periodic review of partnerships with different stakeholders.
19. Manage project deliverable within stipulated deadlines and monitor engagement activities with
private and public sector
20. Monitor and periodically assess the project performance and staff performance against the key
performance areas.
21. Review, understand and analyse the data and prepare the reports of project progress against
targets as per agreed timelines to share with donors and NTEP officials of state as needed.
22. Ensure submission of periodical reports (programmatic and financial) as per organization
requirements and donor specifications.
23. Ensure confidentiality and security of the program data and information.
Eligibility:
✓ Prior experience in managing field operations and experience in setting up a large-scale team is
preferred.
✓ Post Graduate in MSW/MA Social Work/MPH or Any Medical degree with 6 years of experience
in the public health/development sector and field implementation, with at least an additional 2
years of experience in managing large field operations and teams.
✓ Proficient in MS Office with a strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
✓ Building successful collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
✓ Cross-cultural experience in health and working in rural settings is an added advantage.
✓ Experience working with National TB/HIV programs in a managerial capacity will be
advantageous.
✓ Must have their own vehicle with a valid driving license and be willing to travel extensively in
the field.
As Point person
Salary: Monthly CTC (Cost to Company) for this position is capped at a maximum of INR 65,000/-
only. The final salary will be determined and mutually agreed upon, taking into consideration factors
such as the last drawn/current salary, experience in the relevant sector, credentials, and
performance in the interview. Preference will be given to candidates proficient in reading, writing,
and speaking Hindi and English.
