ITS Assignment 1

This document outlines an assignment involving measures of central tendency, dispersion, quantiles, and frequency distributions. It includes 4 questions: 1) calculate statistics for a dataset and create a frequency distribution table, 2) plot the frequency distribution, 3) determine range, quartiles, and other statistics from a frequency table of class sizes, 4) use Karl Pearson's measure to find skewness for 3 distributions and describe their shapes.

Question 4:

Using the Karl Pearson’s measure of Skewness, find the coefficient of skewness for each
distribution, and describe the shape of the distribution.

 Mean = 20, median = 23, standard deviation = 5.

 Mean = 53, mode = 48, Variance = 64.
 Mean = 98.5, median = 98.5, Variance = 4.
