FKB22203 (CALCULUS 2) – January 2023 - instructions

This assignment carries a weightage of 10% of the total assessments for FKB22203 (Calculus 2)
offered to the Bachelor of Engineering Technology students in UniKL MFI.

This assignment covers the topic of ‘Ordinary Differential Equations’. For this assignment,
students are required to work INDIVIDUALLY. Each student must collect the assignment
questions from the VLE and later submit the complete assignment to his/her TUTORIAL
LECTURER.

This assignment consists of THREE PHASES.

PHASE 1: Monday, 8 May – Sunday, 14 May 2023 (7 days)

Students are required to collect (copy) the assignment questions from the VLE. Login with your
own account. The assignment can be attempted as soon as the questions are collected.

PHASE 2: Monday, 15 May – Wednesday, 31 May 2023 (17 days)

Students are to solve the ordinary differential equation problems by showing all important working
steps, together with the explanation to support the calculations. The assignment must be hand
written using black or blue ink only. Students are to complete all assignment questions using
the provided assignment submission template.

PHASE 3: Thursday, 1 June – Friday, 2 June 2023 (2 days)

Students are to submit the hard copy of the complete assignment to his/her TUTORIAL
LECTURER in Mathematics Room. The assignment will not be returned back to the students.
Make sure to keep a copy of the assignment for your references before submitting it to your
respective tutorial lecturers. All late submission will be penalized.

How to submit your assignment

1. The assignment submission cover page is provided in the VLE. Use colored paper for the
cover page and the back page. Follow the following color code.

2. The second page is the hand written must-answer questionnaire. Include your photo.

3. The third page onwards are the assignment questions and solutions respectively, hand
