Alhamdulillah thank you, all praise is belongs to our mighty god, Allah SWT, for enabling us to successfully
complete all of the assigned tasks during this Industrial Training session, which ran from July to October of 2023.
While I was employed at Netherland Maritime Resources, commonly referred to as Netherland Maritime
Resources, I also picked up a lot of new skills.

Big appreciation to Miss Nurul Ain Binti Azmi, my helpful Industrial Supervisor. I genuinely benefited from her
guidance, assistance, and understanding as the internship programme progressed and went smoothly.

She has put in a lot of effort and made a huge impact over the past 16 weeks. Additionally, this internship
programme has helped me understand the importance of teamwork and is a novel experience in working
environment, is difficult and instructive. Not to be overlooked is our lecture from Kolej Poly-Tech Mara Batu Pahat,
which provided assistance and kept in touch during the internship programme.

In addition, I want to thank all of the study participants who helped to complete my practical training despite
remaining anonymous throughout the process. Without the direction and critical feedback from my mentor, Sir

Finally, I want to express my gratitude to all of my friends, especially those that collaborate with me at Netherland

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Enhancing the efficacy of Malaysia's higher education institutions offering industry training is the primary goal of
this project. According to many, the training is a crucial tactic for exposing students to real-world work
environments and assisting them in handling responsibilities that are appropriate for their skill level, ensuring that
they are prepared for the workforce upon graduation. The organisation housing them can be burdened by this
industrial training, which could also lower the training's quality.

Overall, this report includes a few significant points. The introduction to industrial training, along with its
goals and purpose, is covered in the first section. The second section includes an overview of youth and the
ministry's historical development, location, and organisational chart.

The third is the outdoor exercises in which I took part during this industry training. In addition to
learning how to manage their work and solve problems when faced with a docket, trainees can also learn how to
interact with people. I gain a great deal of experience and am able to effectively prepare for the industrial training
report.

INTRODUCTION

1.1 DEFINITION OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING

Before receiving their diploma, Kolej Poly-Tech MARA Batu Pahat Semester 7 students must complete an industrial
training programme. All students had to complete the industrial training in 16 weeks or less. Its goal is to
introduce students to real-world job situations.

Through the Industrial Training programme, students can apply what they learned in college to the
organisation, which can enhance the organization's growth and day-to-day operations. In addition, it marks the
start of the students' industrial training programme, which will expand their knowledge and skill set. Industrial
training serves as a springboard to help students pursue careers in their chosen fields.

Students will be able to gain more knowledge about the real work environment, graphic design,
photography, customer service, production, and all the way up to the clerk's office. Students will also learn how to
perform their professions and become more conscious of the work they face. Learn more about the position as
well. In this instance, can assist students in adapting to the demands of the job market when they graduate in the
near future.

I was granted acceptance to Netherland Maritime Resources for this industrial training, which would take
place from July 10, 2023, to October 26, 2023.I was assigned to production and graphic design departments. Every
unit will handle customer data, completion, installation, and design in accordance with the client's specifications.

INTRODUCTION

1.2 OBJECTIVE OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING

The purpose of industrial training is to provide students with hands-on experience in a relevant organisation while
equipping instructors to produce graduates who possess the knowledge and abilities necessary to meet today's
demands. I ought to be somewhat knowledgeable about industrial training as a result.

• Transformed from a regular student to an outstanding graduate with a highly competitive, unbiased,
and perceptive approach to problem solving.

• Give students hands-on experience with development and management techniques in the
workplace.
• Assists students in gaining practical experience and learning how to solve problems in the workplace
so they can improve the organization's quality.

• Offer training opportunities for businesses and organisations, and assess the character of upcoming
university graduates in the area.

• Request feedback so that you can keep an eye on the faculty's course quality.
• After receiving industrial training, students may be inspired to enhance their academic performance
and skill set.
• To improve the students' knowledge and skills from what they have learned in college by exposing
them to an actual working environment.

3
INTRODUCTION

1.3 OBJECTIVE OF REPORT

Many educational programs include industrial training, which allows students to obtain real-
world experience in their chosen industries. The production of an industrial training report is a
critical component of this training. Each student is required to submit an industrial training report,
which is a document containing the activities learned throughout the industrial training. One
outstanding piece of work is pointless unless it is reported in an exceptional statement. As a result,
in order to fulfill every instruction issued and meet the needs of an institution, each student must
pay extra attention when writing reports. Each student will be grateful to be able to complete this
report on time and with all of the parts taught throughout industrial training.

Finally, because the writing and reporting styles for paperwork completion are comparable,
students can train themselves to accomplish some paperwork. The objective of an industrial
training report is to assist students in remembering and reflecting on what they learned and
performed during their internship. Familiarization of students with how to create a report in order
for them to be better prepared when they face a higher level, as well as supporting students in
developing the courage to talk to and engage with companies in order to obtain information for
an industrial report. The production of an industrial training report serves several important
purposes. It records practical experiences, applies theoretical concepts, encourages introspection
and self-evaluation, improves communication skills, invites review and criticism, and serves as a
record of learning.

PROJECT DETAILS

3.2 INTRODUCTION TO PROJECT DETAILS

Three designers work at Netherlands Maritime Resources: Ms. Nurul Ain, Mr. Ikhwan Fitri, and Mr. Hazman.
They cover for each other in case there are several jobs going on at once. However, I was placed on the same team as
them once I started working for this company. Therefore, if we get a job or design, we will divide it up between us. They
all then assisted me in completing the production portion. I completed a few projects during my internship at
Netherland Maritime Resources, including a logo for the company's website, a poster, a video, a poster for a special
event like Hari Merdeka, and other projects. The graphic design team, which oversees the needs and orders of the
company, directs me on any projects or designs that I have to complete. Along with other designers, I was assigned to
the graphic design team. The manager has also chosen me to be the company's Tik Tok account content creator.

19
PROJECT DETAILS

3.3 SCOPE PROJECT

First off, NMR is the sales and marketing department of NMUC. It is a company that specialises in sales and marketing.
Although I was assigned to the sales and marketing department, I am now a member of the graphic design team, and
the focus of my project is design. But making a video and a poster was the biggest assignment I had to finish. Before
the project can be posted and shared with clients, it must be completely designed in software and presented to the
graphic design department for approval.

3.4 OBJECTIVE OF PROJECT DETAILS

Through this project, you will be able to gain experience in handling real-world situations. In addition, we need to
understand the goal and objective of this project.

• The student will encounter a real-world workplace and scenario.

• Possess the ability to manage issues or comprehend the needs of the user directly.
• to develop a spirit of cooperation and effective communication among staff members when assigned a
task.

• Boost students' self-esteem after training is finished.

• To enhance students' abilities to become more proficient graphic designers

OTHER PROJECT/TASK

4.0 OTHER PROJECT/TASKS

44
OTHER PROJECT/TASK

4.1 INTRODUCTION OF THE SECOND PROJECT

Like all industrial training students at NMIT Resources SDN BHD, I had a variety of responsibilities during my 16-
week internship. These duties included cold calling potential clients, creating forecasting WhatsApp messages, and
managing Facebook posts.

I completed extra projects and tasks that were given to me by my industrial supervisor, Ms. Nurul Ain Binti Azmi,
during the internship programme. Creating and overseeing weekly event postings and aggressively pursuing
potential clients who might be interested in attending our events were among my most notable duties.

I was able to improve my time management abilities by working on these varied projects, which made it possible
for me to prioritise my work and finish my assignments. In addition, this experience helped me develop personally
and equipped me both physically and mentally for the demands of the real world job market.

4.2 SCOPE OF THE PROJECT

The scope of this project or task that given to me were divided into numerous sections : • Make a posting in
Facebook about event

• Forecast message using software

• Helping for student registration at NMUC campus

• Sales and marketing

• Make offer letter for the student

• Preparing invoice

4.3 OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT

This project's main objective is to understand and absorb the real work scenario. In order to market our products,
we work hard to improve our ability to communicate with prospective customers. This project supports the idea
that facing real-life situations leads to genuine learning.

This learning process involves more than just comprehension; it also involves applying pragmatic knowledge to
real-world situations. We can get a better grasp of how to carry out different tasks and how knowledge can be
used practically in daily tasks by going through this experience.

In addition, this project provides an extremely beneficial opportunity to practise and apply the knowledge we
have learned in an actual work environment. It's not merely theoretical; it involves involving ourselves in concrete
acts and resolving problems that might arise when faced with particular problems. We think that the only way we
can effectively use our skills and become more adept in our roles is by interacting with real-world scenarios.

45
OTHER PROJECT/TASK

4.4 PROJECT DETAILS

4.4.1 Create a Facebook post about the event.

It is our understanding that employees and interns are required to post updates about the company's weekly
activities on Facebook. The main purpose of these Facebook posts is to extend invitations to students who might
be interested in the company's scholarship programme. We have to create fifty posts a day.

Figure 4.4.1.1

4.4.2 Forecast message using software

we also make invitations through the whatsapp application using a software in the pc that allows us to send
copywriting invitations to events easily. Our phone number is obtained from the NMUC college.

46
OTHER PROJECT/TASK

4.4.3 Helping for student registration at NMUC campus

The interns and staff are also tasked with overseeing the registration of new students who arrive on campus for
the first time. Additionally, we examine the paperwork provided by the students and handle their bank accounts
related to scholarships.

47
OTHER PROJECT/TASK

Inadvertently, he helped us interns learn how to meet and greet new students, which improved our professional
demeanour and helped us establish stronger connections with them.

48
OTHER PROJECT/TASK

49
OTHER PROJECT/TASK

4.4.4 Make offer letter for the student

As part of my internship duties, I was responsible for composing admission letters for prospective students. Above
all, this entailed me to thoroughly research and understand our institution's admission and enrollment
regulations. This was essential to ensure that the admission terms and conditions, specific details about academic
programs, financial aid or scholarship information, and any other crucial details required by prospective students
to make an informed decision were accurately conveyed in the admission letters.

Furthermore, the process required a keen eye for detail and precision, as each admission letter had to be
customized to the individual student, including personal information and the chosen academic program.

This role provided me with valuable experience in document creation, meticulous attention to detail, and the
importance of clear and concise communication within an educational context. Crafting admission letters for
prospective students played a vital role in shaping their initial perception of our university and, by extension, our
commitment to their success.

50
OTHER PROJECT/TASK

4.5 CONCLUSION OF THE PROJECT

In conclusion, the project I was given has greatly aided in my personal development. It has also given me
invaluable experiences that boost my self-assurance when interacting with parents and students. It has also
improved my time management abilities, enabling me to order tasks based on importance and work methodically
through the rest. It has also helped me cultivate a positive outlook, which has helped me overcome obstacles and
improve my problem-solving abilities.

51
RECOMMENDATION

5.0 RECOMMENDATION

52
RECOMMENDATION

5.1 PROBLEMS AND DIFFICULTIES FACED DURING PROJECT

First of all, NMIT Resources need to set an allowance for intern because at this company they
provide just commission that will be count if the student or client that has been invited to event pay full
registration fee when they register at college this is a bit difficult to achieve but it is possible.

The second issue is that they schedule too many meetings, which leaves interns unable to
complete their tasks and duties on time.

Last but not least is about some WhatsApp account or Facebook will be restricted or banned this is
because we will do advertising every day fir WhatsApp we will doing forecast massage with the data we
will get from the survey we do at school and about the Facebook account is because we use it for doing
posting and all of this is just to doing advertising the invitation to parent and student that are our potential

5.2 SUGGESTION FOR PROBLEM SOLUTIONS

First of all, I want to suggest that NMIT Resources should at least giving their intern around RM
200 for them to survive this is because they still as student and some of the intern does not have
allowance from their collage that mean they must use their own money to buy their essential, eat, fuel for
coming office, parking fee and for staff hostel utilities.

Next, I want to recommending that they set a proper meeting time and length so that everyone has
plenty of time to complete the assigned task.

Finally, I would like to recommend that the company at the very least give each employee or
intern a phone number that they can use to forecast messages using WhatsApp so that the messages
won't interfere with their personal number. This phone number can also be used to create a Facebook
account. Additionally, I would like to recommend that the company reduce or provide appropriate
guidelines for new employees and interns so that they won't be banned or restricted when using
Facebook or WhatsApp to receive invitations.

6.1 ACHIEVING THE AIMS OF THE PROGRAM

I now have a better understanding after the training program's goals were successfully met. Working on different
projects has given me the opportunity to learn a great deal of new information and gain priceless insights thanks
to this experience. I now have a better understanding of NMIT Resources as a result. However, it's important to
remember that there were a lot of obstacles that had to be overcome. Still, I am appreciative of the chance to
finish my industrial training course in July 2023.

I have learned another important lesson from this programme. It emphasised how crucial it is to understand the
materials that go into making something and to pay attention to its size and format. Merely designing something is
insufficient; before moving on to the last phases of production, one must comprehend the dimensions and
properties of the materials. My successful assimilation of all the crucial knowledge from my industrial training
validates that the program's goals were accomplished.

I firmly think that people looking to gain experience in a real working environment can benefit immensely from
ongoing industrial training. Still, other aspects like discipline, work ethic, good communication, and task
dedication must be taken into account. Furthermore, the contemporary knowledge, abilities, and experience they
have gained can greatly aid in their future professional growth.

6.2 SUGGESTION

Kolej Poly-Tech MARA's Industrial Training programme is a calculated move to foster a sense of commitment and
give students hands-on experience in the field of their choice. It is clear from evaluating the Industrial Training
Program's goals that the advantages exceed the disadvantages.

My interpersonal skills and dependability need to be improved if I'm to meet the second goal of developing my
"Soft Skills." I need to work on being less introverted and more talkative in order to achieve this goal. To improve
my social skills, I also need to interact with the outside world more frequently. I will discover hidden facets of my
personality and greatly improve my soft skills through this process.

At NMIT Resources, I had the chance to gain inspiration and a wide variety of knowledge during my industrial
training programme. But it's crucial to recognise that overall effectiveness can be improved in some areas, and
perfection is elusive. In light of this, I would like to provide some comments and recommendations. It is important
to stress that these observations are not meant to be critical or harmful in any way; rather, they are meant to
positively contribute to the company's growth.

Having completed my 16-week, four-month industrial training, my goal is to offer helpful feedback that will help
the company grow in a number of ways.
