Amadeus Fares has five main features:

• Fare Tools

• Fare Quote Display

• Informative Pricing

• Itinerary Pricing

• Best Buy

Fare Quote entries are further divided in two types of transactions:

FQ The Fare Quote transactions display information based on city pair or itinerary

FX The itinerary pricing transactions price a specific itinerary

FARE TOOLS

IATA rate of exchange

ROE allows you to request rate of exchanges b/w NUC’s and designated currency.

Command is

FQA Country Name

FQA*Country Code

FQA*City Code

FQA Currency Code

You can IATA rate of exchange up to past date of 12 months.

Banker’s Rate
You can display current Bankers Buying Rate (BBR) and Banker’s Selling Sate (BSR) for a particular currency. Even
past BSR or BBR can also be displayed up to past 12 months date.

Example: To display BSR – Bankers Selling Rate for INR, enter:

Converting Currencies
You can convert currencies using Fares Tools. Command is

Example: If you want to convert 50 Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) to Indian Rupees (INR), then command is

Calculating the Mileage

Amadeus Fare Tools allows you to display Mileage between a city pair or via following points.

Command is

Component Explanation

City City Code and TCA

DC Direction code for TPM

TPM Ticketed Point Mileage

CUM Cumulative total of TPMs from Origin

MPM Maximum Permitted Mileage

LVL Level, indicate the mileage surcharge means mileage surcharge is more than 25M

<HGL Higher Level Mileage, indicates the number of miles available before reaching to next higher-level
mileage

<LWL Lower Level Mileage, indicates the number of miles over the previous surcharge level

25M Indicates total of miles TPM can be increased before the mileage exceeded the 25% surcharge level

XTRA Extra miles allowed. Applies to domestic segments only

Requesting Mileage from PNR

Amadeus allows you to calculate mileage from Active PNR

If you want mileage for specific segment or range of segments, enter

Calculating Excess Baggage

Amadeus allows to calculate Excess Baggage for a city pair for a particular airline or YY airlines

FQX City Pair/Excess Kilos/Airline Code/Date

Published Image
Amadeus allows to publish Image of MPM and TPM via different routings

TPM is not displayed for other routes except EH as there is no direct flight via that routing.
