Biosignal Processing and Analysis (4 Credits)

The document introduces a new course on biosignal processing and analysis. The course will provide an overview of various biosignals that can be acquired from the human body and equip students with tools for biosignal analysis. The course is a 3 credit hour elective offered to undergraduate and postgraduate ECE students. It was proposed by Dr. Rohini. P and received recommendation from the Department Advisory Committee on April 28th, 2022. The course aims to teach fundamental signal processing concepts and techniques for biomedical signal analysis. It will consist of 5 modules covering cardiac, neural, myogenic and other biosignal processing.
