Introduction
Mechanical Data
Cross section of profile 100 mm x 100 mm (3.93 in x 3.93 in)
Moment of inertia Ix 377 cm4 (9.06 in4)
Moment of inertia Iy 432 cm4 (10.40 in4)
5 2
Modulus of elasticity 0.72 x 10 N/mm (0.1 x 108 lb/in2)
1 Higher speeds and accelerations are possible; please consult factory for assistance in these cases.
2 The travel length can be extended by splicing HLE units together. In these cases, the technical data may not be valid. Please contact Parker Engineering.
3 Repeatability is dependent on drive configuration. When HLE unit is configured with reducer option, repeatability must be evaluated based on reducer
backlash and reducer ratio. Repeatability with PL/WPL series reducers: ±0.1 mm (±0.004 in). Repeatability with PLE series reducers: ±0.2 mm (±0.008 in).
The controller type, including accuracy, repeatability and resolution of feedback device(s) are not considered in calculations of repeatability.

Note 1: Applications requiring high acceleration rates may require a solid substructure with the HLE profile
supported at frequent intervals. In any case, the maximum deflection cannot be exceeded.
