Isolators and Poles are expected to be relocated 45m away from the center of the road. The project
covers 27km distance. Other details is narrated below.

Summary of Activities:

Scope

Relocation of all electrical facility, within the expansion of 27

kilometers at Dangote Refinery Road, Eleko. The facilities
affected are as follow:
Scope/Overview of the project - Sixteen (16) Distribution Transformers are to be relocated.
- 560 poles (both wooden and concrete) are to be relocated
away from the ROW.
- The Project cuts across 2 electrical feeders (33kv and 11kv)
that cross each other.
Process Evaluation: Project Implementation Highlight
We have recovered all electrical facilities from Akodo to Magbon Alade.
This marks the 80% percent of the total space cleared at the LHS.
ACHIEVEMENTS
More breakdown below;

- More than 20 Kilometers electrical facilities have been taken out

of the ROW on 27 Kilometers at the LHS, for the construction
company (HITECH) to carry out their construction work without
any form of obstruction relating to electrical work.

- Total of 48 Sessions of 33kv over-head lines have been recovered.

- 7 Transformers have been successfully repositioned/relocated

CHALLENGES Delay in demotion;

- We are expected to replace and reposition the electrical facilities
immediately after removal of the initial one. Failure to meet this
expectation as, therefore, led to different issues within the
environment, whereby leaders from various communities came
out to challenge us.

- The progress of the electrical relocation is affected due to delay in

demolition.

Security Challenge:
- We have experienced various hoodlums attack during the process
of recovery and relocation of electrical facilities, whereby the
hoodlums forcefully demanded for money and left our workers
injured.
