Detecting & Controlling COVID-19

The objective is to check and store details of every person


who follows COVID-19 protocols or shows symptoms of
COVID-19 disease.

Additionally,to share the COVID-19 symptoms details with


the closest hospital and take action if required. Alert the
person if they show COVID-19 symptoms or do not follow
COVID-19 protocols properly.

Overview

To develop a phone application that will be able to detect if the user is following
COVID-19 protocols or showing any COVID-19 symptoms and store these details in a
database to provide statistical aid.
The application also has a notification system, which notifies the user if they do not
follow the protocols properly or if they show symptoms of COVID-19.

Quick medical advice provided if necessary.

Quick response from the ambulance team if necessary.

Provides statistical data about COVID-19 in the neighborhood.

Objectives
● Using computer vision, to inspect and alert both the person and the closest
hospital, if a person is not wearing a mask or not following social distancing.

● Extracting data from the user application to inspect if the person is eligible for
public transportation, based on their COVID-19 test results and following of
COVID-19 protocols.

Prospects

1. Alerts the person, the closest hospital and the people in the vicinity of the
person, if any symptoms of COVID-19 is detected.
2. Alerts the person when they do not follow the COVID-19 protocols properly.
3. Stores the data of each and every test report details for statistical purposes.
4. Updation at the hospital dashboard at every fixed interval, to check for the latest
information.

Benefits

1. People can check their health status, from the comfort of their homes.
2. People get to see the statistical data such as number of people affected and
number of people treated in a radius of 5km.
3. Public transport is made much more safer.
4. Hospitals automatically gather the required information, and alerts
ambulances.
