Front-end Developer Job description


About the job
We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to use the latest technologies and bring
to life beautiful UX designs through elegant programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the
UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce a stable working application. You will work
with the UI/UX designer and with our awesome full stack team, taking an active role on both sides and
defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Skills and Qualifications


● Rock solid at client-side JavaScript
● Proficient understanding of UI development and web mark-up, including HTML5, CSS3
● Expertise in asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX and CORS
● Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
● Knowledge in at least one popular framework such as AngularJS, React, etc.
● Impeccable written and verbal communication
Full-Stack Developer Job description
People who work for us become ninjas in multiple technologies. We work on multiple cloud platforms
(Azure, Google App Engine, Amazon, Docker). We work with multiple databases (Cassandra, Mongo,
ElasticSearch, Redis). Mostly, we work in Python and JavaScript with some Java and Ruby thrown in. We
work in HTML5, iOS and Android. We build frameworks and then capitalize on them to build awesome
apps. Add to that machine learning, personalization and more.

About you
● You love technology and have hacked with multiple languages and programming stacks. You love to get
your hands dirty by doing things
● You continually explore new technologies and get in-depth in them to be able to discuss and convince
others that those technologies are applicable to your projects
● You have worked with Python, JavaScript or some other modern language. If you haven’t worked with
these, that’s okay as long as you can learn these well and learn them fast (our interview will ask you to
program in one or both of these)
● You have expertise with NoSQL databases such as Mongo, ElasticSearch or Redis
● You love working with other smart people, collaborate, and learn
● You have impeccable written and verbal communication.

What you will work on


● You will be involved with Python or JavaScript. You will likely work with Azure, AWS, or Google App
Engine.
● You will write elegant code, come up with clearly articulated designs and even get a chance to dabble
with architecture of large systems. Once you join, the opportunities are open and you can rise to the
level of your capabilities quickly.
● We have a stable software lifecycle methodology which includes Git, Ansible, Docker and more. You
will get to adopt and adapt this for the projects. Working with startups means that you must think on
