cater to a varied customer, ranging from occasional thorough cleanings to routine maintenance

cleaning services. Additionally, there are specialized cleaning services offered, like cleaning

services that are suitable for households with pets and cleaning services that cater to individuals

with allergies. EcoLiving Clean Up Crew provides not just cleaning services, but also offers

sustainability advising and eco-friendly cleaning solutions. EcoLiving Clean Up Crew is

dedicated to helping clients adopt more sustainable lifestyles and equipping them with the

necessary resources to achieve this goal.

EcoLiving Clean Up Crew is a registered business based in Manila, Philippines, situated on

Estrada Street, Taft Avenue. We specialize in delivering top-notch cleaning services under the

brand EcoLiving Clean Up Crew, catering to both residents and businesses. Our core

commitment revolves around prioritizing environmental sustainability, achieved through the

application of premium and eco-friendly materials in our cleaning practices.

The structure of EcoLiving Clean Up Crew is organized around a central leadership team,

composed of the founders and key executives. Decision-making is collaborative, with day-to-day

operations overseen by the CEO and department heads. To provide strategic direction, the
company is in the process of establishing an advisory board, bringing in professionals from the

cleaning sector and sustainability experts.

Our offerings at EcoLiving Clean Up Crew encompass a diverse array of programs and services

meticulously crafted to meet the unique cleaning requirements of a diverse clientele. All our

services are aligned with and actively contribute to environmental sustainability goals.

II. Identification and exploration of business scenarios

Having a clean space speaks volumes to the identity of a person and sometimes it can be

difficult to maintain. Being clean is not only a necessity for homeowners but also for any space

and environment, this chapter focuses on alternate possibilities to the company’s business model.

❖ Move in/Move out cleaning: Provide residents who are moving in or out of their

condos with specialized cleaning services. This can entail giving the place a

thorough cleaning, cleaning the carpets, and making sure everything is ready for

the new residents.


❖ Condo Association Contracts: Look for agreements with condo associations to

offer cleaning services for shared spaces, common areas, and perhaps even

individual apartments. This could be a recurrent agreement that guarantees

consistent cleaning for the whole condominium building.

❖ Routine Cleaning service: Offer weekly, biweekly, or monthly condo residents

routine cleaning services. Basic cleaning duties like dusting, vacuuming,

mopping, and cleaning bathrooms can fall under this category.

❖ Specialized Cleaning Services: To serve a wide range of clients, develop

packages for particular needs, such as allergy-sensitive cleaning, eco-friendly

cleaning with green products, or pet-friendly cleaning (addressing pet hair and

odors).

❖ Post Construction Cleaning: Focus on condominiums that have experienced

construction or renovations. Provide post-construction cleaning services to make

sure the condo is pristine and ready for use when the building is finished.

III. Define the project and alternative scenarios

The project is about providing cleaning services to condominium unit owners to answer

their needs for cleanliness problems. The service’s aim is to help owners who may be too busy or

need assistance with their units that need cleaning. The business operation of the company

focuses on efficient and quick cleaning provision that ends with the unit looking brand new, this

is achieved with qualified and trained individuals who work in a pair to help reach the company’s

and unit owner’s cleanliness goals.


Specific packages and services can be requested and choosen by the owner depending on

their needs and specifications. Situations such as units that have pets, moving in or out scenarios,

and post construction cleaning services are just some situations and packages that the unit owner

can choose the business will provide. These servcies are done with qualified personel that

achieved results while being friendly and respectful.

The cleaning service company’s revenue is generated by being able to book and sell

packages to the unit owners in need. The primary source is the owners booking services and

purchasing packages from the company. Other forms of income can be contracts with associated

buildings to provide service to the facilities of the building the unit owner stays in

Continuous improvement is a core aspect of our service philosophy. Regular feedback

channels will be established to gather client insights, allowing us to refine and enhance

our services based on their experiences. Customer satisfaction is paramount, and

feedback mechanisms will be actively monitored and incorporated into our operational

strategy.

● Market Research:

Extensive market research has been conducted to identify the demand for eco-friendly

cleaning services in Manila. This research informs our service offerings, ensuring they

align with the preferences and needs of the local market. Ongoing market analysis will

also be conducted to adapt to changing consumer preferences.

Focus Group Discussion


In conducting the FGD, a total of (5) respondents were gathered. A zoom meeting was

conducted last November 5, 2023 and was recorded with the permission of the respondents. The

recording was also used to take note of the answers of the respondents to the questions. With

that, seventeen (17) questions were discussed namely about the familiarity, price, subscription,

importance, impact, expectations to cleaning services, and many more.

To discuss the first question, about the familiarity of the respondents to the service, the

first question that was asked was “Are you familiar with eco-friendly cleaning services? ". Here

are the answers of the respondents:

Analysis and Interpretation

The concept testing Focus Group Discussion (FGD) questions were strategically crafted

to gain a comprehensive understanding of participants' perceptions of eco-friendly cleaning

services by EcoLiving Clean up Crew. Delving into their expectations and preferences,

participants were prompted to articulate the specifics of their preferred cleaning experience,

placing a significant emphasis on environmentally conscious practices and the need for tailored

services. The inclusion of options such as "Use of eco-friendly cleaning products" and

"Customizable cleaning plans" allowed participants to underscore the importance of

sustainability and personalized service offerings.

Exploring participants' past experiences with cleaning services, particularly their

familiarity and satisfaction levels, provided crucial context for the development of future

services. The responses highlighted varying levels of awareness, with three participants

expressing familiarity and one specifying awareness of a particular service, Busy Bee Cleaning

Co., while one participant indicated a lack of familiarity with eco-friendly cleaning services.

Budgetary considerations for professional cleaning services revealed a spectrum of financial

willingness among participants, ranging from 500-1,000 PHP to 3,000-4,000 PHP. This diversity

in responses offers valuable insights for EcoLiving Clean up Crew to tailor their pricing
strategies, ensuring flexibility to accommodate different budget ranges within their target

audience.

Environmental sustainability emerged as a pivotal consideration, with participants

assigning varied importance ratings on a scale of 1-5. While some participants rated it as highly

important (5), others indicated lower levels of importance. This highlights the necessity for

EcoLiving Clean up Crew to delicately balance their marketing efforts and service offerings,

underscoring their commitment to eco-friendly practices while acknowledging the varied

priorities of their audience. Participants also shared their awareness of the environmental impact

of cleaning products used in their homes, revealing a spectrum of consideration. Some explicitly

factored in environmental impact in their decision-making, while others indicated a lack of such

consideration. This nuanced understanding guides EcoLiving Clean up Crew in emphasizing the

eco-friendly nature of their products in their marketing strategies, aligning with the preferences

of environmentally conscious consumers.

As for expectations and preferences in professional cleaning services, participants

consistently emphasized the importance of thorough cleaning across all living spaces, the use of

eco-friendly cleaning products emerged as a specific expectation for one participant. When

considering services deemed most important, responses varied, encompassing regular dusting

and vacuuming, deep cleaning services, and a strong preference for the use of eco-friendly

cleaning products.

The depth of responses gathered through these concept testing FGD questions provides

EcoLiving Clean up Crew with a rich understanding of participants' awareness levels, budget

considerations, environmental priorities, and specific expectations. Armed with these insights,
the company can refine its marketing strategies, service offerings, and communication to

authentically align with the diverse preferences and values of potential customers.

VI. Concept Statement

EcoLiving Clean Up Crew is a cleaning company established in Manila that offers

high-quality cleaning services with a focus on environmental protection. The organization holds

the belief that every individual is entitled to reside in a pristine and salubrious environment,

irrespective of their financial means or way of life.

EcoLiving Clean Up Crew provides an extensive selection of cleaning services at

cost-effective prices. The company also employs sustainable products and practices to minimize

its ecological footprint. EcoLiving Clean Up Crew asserts that individuals possess the capacity

to contribute towards the establishment of a more pristine future, and the organization takes pride

in its involvement in this endeavor. EcoLiving Clean Up Crew is deeply committed to effecting

positive change. The corporation has the belief that maintaining clean homes and businesses

contributes to the promotion of healthier communities and a more environmentally sustainable

Question 1: Are you familiar with eco-friendly cleaning services?


Kyra: No, to be honest living in a condo for a year and a half i have never heard of eco-friendly
cleaning services.

Shane: I'm familiar with cleaning services, like Busy Bee Cleaning Co. what I know about them
is that they offer many services, not just cleaning houses, but also car interior detailing.

Andrea: Actually I’ve been planning to hire a cleaning service since I moved here so I’ve been
familiar with ones around Taft.

Martin: No I’m not familiar with them.

Cyril: No, I haven’t heard of eco-friendly cleaning services during my time in Taft.

Question 2: How much are you willing to pay for a professional cleaning service?
Kyra: My budget would be around 500-1,000 PHP for professional cleaning service.

Shane: I'm willing to pay around 1,500-2,800 PHP.

Andrea: Mga 1,000-2,000 PHP then I’d add a tip for the cleaners.

Martin: My budget is around 3000 to 4000 PHP


Cyril: My budget would be around 500-1,000 PHP for professional cleaning services.

Question 3: On a scale of 1-5, how important is environmental sustainability to you?


Kyra: 5, because at a very young age we are supposed to be taught how to practice
environmental sustainability and that’s why it’s important for me.

Shane: 5, because living sustainably in the condo is a big deal for me.

Andrea: 2, it wasn’t really something I’ve considered but I would want to be more conscious.

Martin: 4 because in my previous school, we were taught about how important it is.

Cyril: I’d rate it a t, as it’s something I need in my condo.

Question 4: Do you consider the environmental impact of the cleaning products used in
your home?

Kyra: No, I don't consider them.

Martin:Yes because I like helping the environment when I can

Andrea: No, it’s hard to find affordable sustainable products.

Shane: I think that this can reduce the impact of our environmental problem nowadays. and
using eco-friendly cleaning products can also have a lesser impact on my condo.

Cyril: Yes, I do consider the environmental impact of cleaning products.

Question 5: What are your expectations for a professional cleaning service?

Kyra: I do expect a thorough cleaning of all living spaces from these professionals of cleaning

service.

Shane: I expect a professional cleaning service to do their job thoroughly and ensure that my

condo is well-sanitized, clean, and smells good.

Andrea: I would want everything thoroughly cleaned, every corner and every detail of my space

would feel comfortable and sanitized.


Martin: I expect them to be efficient and effective in their cleaning

Cyril: I expect them to be thorough cleaning of all living spaces.

Question 6: What services are most important to you?

Kyra: For me the most important cleaning services to me are regular dusting and vacuuming as

it does get dusty living and surrounded by streets of Taft.

Shane: So, in the cleaning service industry, what really stands out to me is the regular dusting

and vacuuming routine. It might sound simple, but these tasks are the backbone of maintaining a

clean and healthy environment. Regular dusting ensures that surfaces stay free from allergens,

dust mites, and other particles that can accumulate over time.

Andrea: I think sometimes when I clean around myself, I miss a few parts or don’t get to use the

right equipment or supplies or products so deep cleaning is a service I’d like to avail from a

cleaning service so that cleanliness and sanitation in my home is ensured.

Martin: Regular dusting is important since my condo collects a lot of dust so I want that fixed

Cyril: Regular dusting and vacuuming.

Question 7: Have you ever availed a cleaning service? If yes, how satisfied are you
with their services?

Kyra: No, I have never availed for any condo cleaning service throughout the duration of my

stay in taft.

Shane: I haven’t availed any cleaning service yet.

Andrea: I haven’t yet but I plan to soon.


Martin: No I have not

Cyril: No, I have not.

Question 8: How often do you currently have your condominium cleaned (may be
cleaning service or self-cleaning?)

Kyra: Personally I get my condo cleaned weekly with self-cleaning.

Shane: My roomie and I clean the condo every week.

Andrea: I vacuum everyday then deep clean every week.

Martin: I live with my brother and we clean usually twice a month.

Cyril: I clean my condo myself about once a month.

Question 9: How much time do you typically spend cleaning your Taft
condominium?

Kyra: I only spend at least 1 hour per week cleaning my condo.

Shane: We usually take about one and a half or 2 hours to clean the condo.

Andrea: I think around 1-2 hours? 2 hours max.

Martin: Around 1-2 hours

Cyril: Around 2-3 hours.

Question 10: How would having a professional cleaning service free up your time for
other activities?

Kyra: Having the advantage of a professional cleaning service would save me up so much time

for more leisure activities and hobbies.


Shane: Having a professional cleaning service free up not just the time but also our energy since

having them clean the condo can benefit us. We can use that time to rest or do tasks.

Andrea: I really value personal time or time with friends and family so anything that could

allow me more time for that I’d really appreciate.

Martin: With a professional cleaning service, I can use that time to study for school or for more

other hobbies like playing games and basketball.

Cyril: It would give me more time for my hobbies and leisure activities.

Question 11: Based on our company description, what is your impression of

Kyra: My impression of it is quite a positive one since as a condo owner i do think this would
