Qualitative analysis :-
Skyroot Aerospace is an Indian aerospace startup that was founded in July 2018
by former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientists Pawan Kumar
Chandana and Naga Bharath Daka. The startup was established with the aim of
developing reliable, cost-effective, and innovative space launch solutions. They
are focused on building launch vehicles to deliver small and medium-sized
satellites into orbit. Vasudevan Gnanagandhi, along with a group of
entrepreneurs, including Mukesh Bansal and Ankit Nagori, who are also
associated with CureFit, provided support for the establishment of Skyroot
Aerospace. The company gained attention for its innovative approach to space
technology and garnered recognition for its achievements. On October 6, 2020,
Skyroot Aerospace won the National Startup Award 2020, which was declared
by the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry at that time, Piyush Goyal.
This award highlighted the company's achievements and contributions to the
Indian startup ecosystem. Skyroot Aerospace's success showcases the potential
of startups to bring fresh ideas and advancements to the aerospace industry,
particularly in a country like India that has been rapidly developing its space
capabilities
Being ranked 7th on LinkedIn's 2021 Top Startups List in India is a testament to
their progress and recognition within the startup ecosystem. Moreover,
performing the maiden launch of their Vikram-S suborbital rocket and
becoming the first Indian private company to reach outer space is a significant
milestone. This achievement demonstrates their capability to develop and
launch space vehicles, marking a substantial step forward in India's private
space sector. Skyroot Aerospace's contributions are indeed helping to shape the
future of space technology and exploration in India.
