VPlayer User Guide

1 | INTRODUCTION
vPlayer 3 is a 64 Bits standalone software developed for quick testing new vst/au instruments
without the need to use any DAW.

But also for playing a quick loading jam session using your favourite instruments, playing up to 4
instruments at same time using up to 4 different keyboards if needed.

2 | SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
MAC:
Open vPlayer 3.dmg. Drag and drop vPlayer 2 to your applications folder. Double-click vPlayer 3
app.

WINDOWS:
Drag and drop vPlayer 3 to your Program Files folder. Double-click vPlayer 3.exe

3 | TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have problems with the sound (clicks/distortion/latency) try changing IO Vector Size and
Signal Vector Size to lower values.

4 | SECTIONS
vPlayer features up to 4 vst/au instrument sections where you can load any of your favourite
virtual instruments.

Each section also features a vst/au plugin section where you can load any effect plugin to process
the virtual instrument audio output.

• Midi Device Menu. Select your midi interfaces.


• Browse:.Select your vst/au instrument.
• S. Save the plug-in preset. (.fxp file)
• L. Load a plug-in preset (.fxp file)
• R. Remove plugin
• Gain. Adjust output gain.
• Panorama. Set panorama left-right.
• Eq. 5-Band parametric equalizer + HP/LP Filter.
• Settings. Configure your audio settings.

5 | RECORDING
vPlayer 2 allows recording in WAV or AIFF (16/24/32Bits). Up to 192kHz (depending your
soundcard capabilities).

Controls:
§ Bit Depth: Set bit depth 16/24/32 Bits
§ Channels. Set mono/stereo recording
§ Rec/Stop. Start/Stop recording. Once file destination is set, the recording will start
automatically.
§ Volume. Set the recording volume

7 | SETTINGS
In this section you can select your audio settings. Set up your own input/output configuration
depending your soundcard and needs at anytime.

Default Output Voxpat configuration:

Main Out – Soundcard Inputs 1(L) & 2(R)

8 | OUTPUT ROUTING
Send audio to any DAW or audio editor for audio recording.

Via BlackHole (Mac) or Jack Audio (Windows/Mac) you can use vPlayer 3 within any DAW or
audio editor.

9 | SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Mac System Requirements

Mac Intel machine running OS X 10.11.6 or later.


Apple M1 ARM machine running osx 11.0 or later. 64 Bits. Minimum RAM 2GB.

Windows System Requirements

Windows 8 or later, Intel & AMD multicore processor. 64 Bits. Minimum RAM 2GB.
