Topic: BOOKS
Books are imaginativeeveryone in this world has read at least one fairy
tale or at least one story book. To a child a book with a wild twist in its plot is more than enough to stimulate its creativity and draw on that wall with its crayon. Thus a significant and imaginative power is found in a storybook. Writers like Enid Blyton , J.K Rowling and C.S Lewis are all very attached to books. Books are important to children to teach them moral values. Children who have disciplinary problems can be calmed down by reading a book with them. It only makes sense if the child enjoys the story and not lament over it. Children again often enjoy their parents reading to them a book filled with bedtime stories for them.
Books are rich..there are people who have acquired success because of a
book. I refer to writers of books who draw out images and caricatures in their mind in the form of words. A book is an amazing medium of expressing ones feeling and spreading knowledge at the same time. Jack Canfield along with three other
partners made $ 997,300 after selling their first Chicken Soup for the Soul book. The book changed his life and gave him a beautiful and luxurious lifestyle, with the advancement of Science and Technology, E-books were created. E-books stand for electronic books. These books not only are cheaper but are even environmentally friendly because there are no cuttings of trees involved. Many authors nowadays, sell their masterpieces as E-Books too, to show that they too are responsible towards maintaining a greener environment.
Books are evil.Anything sweet like honey, is sure to swarmed by bees. The
same goes for books. There are those who use books in their journey of practicing the Dark Arts. Scriptures of black magic and voodoo torturing can be found in history of the eastern and western civilisations. These books were supposed to be only used for warding off spirits and healing of a person. These books were misused. I found a book in my friends house that was filled with satanic markings and rituals. The books were filled with the most spine-tingling of practices: cannibalism, human- sacrifice and torture punishment methods. My friends dad, who was a historian, mentioned of an antichrist movement in the United States of America. The dark arts are also an unfortunate part of books. Finally, bear in mind that books bring more good than harm, more triumph than sorrow and more love than hate. A book should be optimised by a person to use for gaining intelligence and opinions and not for the wrong purposes. If given a modal and an intrigued spirit, I would open up a bookshop myself and spread my joy of books to all the people around me. Books again are a medium of spreading emotions and should be preserved and not be extinct because of time. Who knows even this essay could even be published into a book someday. The fact remains that Books will always be a part of history, whether in the past, present or future.
