Find out ideas and write the overview

Overall, it can be seen that the

figures for tourists visiting
Malaysia and Dubai both
increased. Also, while the
number of people coming to
Malaysia was higher than that
to Dubai from 1995 to 2000, the
opposite was true for the last 3
years of the period.
BODY
3 LINES AND FEWER

Group the data by dividing the timeline of the graph into 2

specific periods of time which correspond with the 2 body
paragraphs.
STEP BY STEP
Pick out and group the main data
STEP BY STEP
In 1995, the number of visitors to
Malaysia was twice as much as that to
x Dubai, with 100,000 and approximately
50,000 respectively. Over the following 6
years, the figure for visitors to Malaysia
witnessed a gradual increase to about
320,000. Likewise, despite some
fluctuations, the number of people
visiting Dubai also increased
significantly to 320,000.
STEP BY STEP
In 2002, there were slight decreases in
the figures for both Malaysia and Dubai,
with just above 300,000 and around
280,000 respectively. The next year
experienced a sharp rise of nearly
100,000 in the number of people who
came to Dubai. However, that of people
visiting Malaysia fell steadily to just
under 250,000
Let’s practice!
