LEADERSHIP SEMINAR AND OATH TAKING CEREMONY

EMCEES’ SCRIPT

Jericho and Roi: Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, and leaders of tomorrow,
a very pleasant afternoon to each and every one of you!

Roi: Indeed, today marks a momentous occasion as we gather here for the Leadership
Seminar and Oath-Taking Ceremony. I am Roi Fulgencio—

Jericho: —and I am Jericho Barola, and together, we have the honor of guiding you
through this incredible journey today.

Roi: This day isn't merely a mark on the calendar; it's a convergence of aspirations, a
fusion of dreams and ambitions, and an embodiment of the steadfast dedication that
each one of you holds within. Today, we stand united in purpose, driven by the desire to
hone our leadership skills and uphold the noble virtue of service.

Throughout the course of this event, we'll be blessed with insightful discourse
from our esteemed speakers, celebrate the achievements of our participants, witness
the solemn Oath-Taking ceremony, and share in the camaraderie of this momentous
occasion.

Jericho: So, I urge you to embrace this day with open hearts and receptive minds, to
participate actively, to network, to learn, and most importantly, to inspire and be inspired.
But before we proceed, let us all stand and bow our heads for a moment of solemnity
and reverence as we invoke the presence of the divine.

[Opening Prayer]

Jericho: Thank you for that heartwarming prayer. Now, please rise as we pay tribute to
our nation through the singing of our National Anthem.

Roi: As we commence this event, it is our pleasure to introduce an exemplary leader


who embodies dedication, vision, and unwavering commitment to the student body.
Please join us in welcoming our Student Coordinating Body President, Angel Oplas.
Please give her a round of applause for the opening remarks.

Jericho: A captivating start indeed! Now, we have the privilege of introducing two
distinguished individuals whose insights will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark. Let us
welcome our first speaker.

[1st Speaker: Mr. Noel Madine (Batch 81)]

Mr. Noel Medina He’s an advocate of good governance.

[2nd Speaker: Prof. Nestor Castro (Batch 81)]

Prof Nestor Castro. He's also from hs batch 81 and a professor of antropology at
UP diliman. This will provide a historical and anthropological perspective to
different leadership approaches.

TOPIC: Evolution of Leadership

Jericho: Thank you, Mr. Medina, and Professor Castro, for that enlightening session
(You can adlib what is your learning on the seminar short only) Now, we will move
on to the Question-and-Answer portion. Ladies and gentlemen, feel free to ask your
questions and inquiries. Just proceed here in front and please use our mic.

Roi: PCCians, please join us in extending our heartfelt gratitude to our distinguished
speakers who have shared their invaluable insights and wisdom with us today. Their
words have left an indelible mark on our hearts and minds, guiding us towards greater
enlightenment and understanding.

Jericho: We would like to request Mrs. Cely Delos Reyes and Miss Bess Masanque to
join us here on stage and present to our speakers their token of appreciation.

Jericho: Once again, let's extend our warmest appreciation to Mr. Noel Madine and
Prof. Nestor Castro for their invaluable contributions. Your insights will resonate with us
as we continue our journey of leadership and growth.

Roi: Now, for the moment we've all been waiting for. The future leaders, the
embodiment of promise, will take their oath and stand united in their commitment.
Please welcome the newly elected Council for their Oath-Taking Ceremony.

Jericho: Instructions for the oath-taking ceremony:

1. When your council is called, your council president will go up on stage.


2. The officers will stand from their seats, raise their right hand, and read the
contents of the pledge certificate.
3. After reciting the pledge, please sign the pledge certificate; that will be your
official copy.
4. After the oath-taking, each council member will have an opportunity for a pictorial
on the stage.

Jericho: For the person who will lead the oath-taking ceremony, I am calling upon the
Former President of CSCB for the school year 2022-2023, Mr. Kyle Rafaelle Vasallo.

Roi: A memorable event deserves to be captured forever. We invite all council members
and distinguished guests for a photo opportunity to mark this beautiful day.

Jericho: As we near the conclusion of this gathering, let's witness the power of unity
and solidarity through music. I call upon all council officers for a heartwarming

hearts full of gratitude. Let's stand up and join in a closing prayer, embracing this

Jericho: Leaders what a fantastic day it's been! We've learned so much, met amazing
people, we want to say a big thank you to our incredible speakers, Mr. Noel Madine and
Prof. Nestor Castro. Their words were inspiring and will stay with us on our journey
ahead.

Roi: A special shout-out to everyone who helped put this event together. You all did an
awesome job, and this event wouldn't have been possible without your efforts.
