Glass Colour Recipes with Fevicol

PROJECT NAME: Rangoli on OHP sheet

MATERIAL: A4 Paper, Pencil, Ruler, Scissors, OHP Sheet, Ornamental Stones (Small and Medium,),
Corrugated Box Flap, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27, Fevicryl 3 D Outliner Glitter Gold 401, Fevicryl
Water Based Glass Colours, Fevicol A+

METHOD:

• Take an A4 white paper; draw the square measuring 10” x 10” in size.
• Draw four diyas at four corners of the square and a small square in the center.
• Place an OHP sheet on the drawing and paint the outline of the diya design with 3 D Outliner
Glitter Gold 401.
• Let it dry.
• Paint the design with glass colours of your choice.
• We have used Pink 856, Ultramarine Blue 859 and Orange 860.
• Let it dry.
• Enhance the rangoli design by sticking the ornamental stones with Fevicol A+.
 • Enhance the border of the rangoli design by embedding the white ornamental stones using 3
D Outliner Glitter Gold 401.

PROJECT NAME: Flowers with glass Colours on OHP sheet

MATERIAL: Fevicryl 3 D Outliner White 707, Black 708, Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colours Kit, Fine Art
Brushes, Fevicol A+, Stone or Sequins, OHP Sheet, Pencil, A4 White Paper, Colour Palette, Water
Container,
METHOD:

• We are going to paint the Scandinavian flower design on OHP sheet with glass colours.
• Take an A4 white paper; draw a Scandinavian flower design on it.
• Place an OHP sheet on the drawing and paint the outline of the design with 3 D Outliner Black
708.
• Leave it to dry completely.
• Paint the floral design using Water Based Glass Colours (Tomato Red, Golden Yellow, Crystal
Green, Sea Blue, Pink, Ultramarine Blue and Brown).
• Leave it to dry completely.
• Paint a few dots on the flower bed with 3 D Outliner White 707. Stick sequins or stones on
around the flowers with Fevicol A+. Let it dry.
PROJECT NAME: Bookmarks
PRODUCT: Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Black 708, Fevicryl - Water Based Glass Colours Kit, Fevicol MR
MATERIAL: A4 Sized White Paper, A4 Sized White Card Paper, OHP Sheet, Pencil, Ruler, Single Punch,
Silver Thread, Scissors
METHOD:
• Take an A4 sized white paper, draw 4 rectangles along with a boy, a girl, a rocket and a giraffe on
it.
• Place an OHP sheet over the drawing and outline the design and the outer rectangle using 3D
Cone Outliner Black 708. Leave it to dry.
• Paint the boy, girl, rocket and the giraffe using Water Based - Glass Colours - Tomato Red 851,
Golden Yellow 852, Sea Green 853, Crystal Green 854, Brown 855, Pink 856 and Orange 860.
• Let it dry completely.
• After drying, cut along the outlines of the painted rectangles with the pair of scissors.
• Punch holes towards the above edge of the rectangles.
• Take an A4 sized white card paper, draw and cut the rectangles as per the size of the painted
OHP designs.
• Punch holes towards the above edge of the rectangles.
• Stick the card paper from the rear side of the painted OHP with Fevicol MR.
• Let it dry.
• Take a silver thread and tie it towards the top to finish the bookmarks.
PROJECT NAME: Dreamcatcher
PRODUCT: Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner White 707, Fevicryl - Water Based - Glass Colours Kit, Fevicol A+

MATERIAL: OHP Sheet, A4 Sized White Paper, A4 Sized Card Paper (White, Yellow, Orange, Red),
Compass, Pencil, Silver Thread, Scissors, Wooden Beads, Single Punch
METHOD:
• Take an A4 sized white paper, draw a circle measuring 8” in radius.
• Draw a mandala design within the circle.
• Place an OHP sheet on the design and paint the design with 3D Cone Outliner - White 707. Leave
it to dry
• Make two such designs.
• Paint the OHP designs from the rear side with Water Based - Glass Colours - Tomato Red 851,
Golden Yellow 852 and Orange 860.
• Let it dry.
• Take an A4 sized white card paper, draw a circle in the size of the painted mandala designs which
are on the OHP sheets.
• Sandwich the white card paper in between the two painted OHP sheets using Fevicol A+ Glue.
Let it dry.
• Take an A4 sized white, yellow, orange and red card papers.
• Draw and cut leaf shapes out of it.
• Cut about 3 to 4 leaf shapes of each colour. Cut the fringes for the leaves to give the effect of
feathers.
• Punch holes on the painted OHP sheet towards the top as well as towards the bottom side,
further for dangling the feather strings.
• Take a thread and pass it through the wooden beads securing it with knots at regular intervals.
• Dangle the paper feathers towards one end of the bead string.
• Attach the feather beads strings towards the bottom side of the painted OHP as well as one bead
string towards the upper side for hanging the dreamcatcher.
PROJECT NAME: Lion with cub
PRODUCT: Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Black 708, Fevicryl - Water Based - Glass Colours, Fevicol MR
MATERIAL: OHP Sheet, A4 Sized White Paper, A4 Sized White Card Paper, Pencil, Ruler, Googly Eyes
METHOD:
• Take an A4 sized white paper, draw a lion with its cub with a zig- zag line pattern in the
background.
• Place an OHP sheet on the drawing and outline the design with 3D Cone Outliner - Black 708
• Paint the lion, the cub and the background with Water Based - Glass Colours - Golden Yellow
852, Crystal Green 854, Brown 855 and Orange 860.
• Leave it to dry.
• Take an A4 sized white card paper and stick it from the rear side of the painting using Fevicol MR
• Similarly, stick the googly eyes appropriately using Fevicol MR
• Let it dry.
PROJECT NAME: Ganesh on Coaster
MATERIAL: Fevicryl Acrylic Colours White 27, Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colours Kit, Fevicryl Mouldit,
Fevicol A+, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, A4 Sized White Paper, OHP Sheet, Pencil, Water Container,
Paper Cutter, MDF Wooden Coaster, Golden Ribbon, Scissors
METHOD:
1. Take MDF wooden coaster; paint it with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
2. Draw a zig-zag pattern on the coaster neatly.
3. Paint the pattern with Water based Glass Colours of your choice. Leave to dry
4. Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
5. Take an A4 sized white paper, draw a simple Ganesh on it
6. Place an OHP sheet on the drawing and start building the Ganesh idol in 2 dimensions by making
coils, pinching technique as well as making few textures for the jewelry. Use Fevicol for sticking
the body parts neatly. Leave it till semi dry.
7. Paint the Ganesh with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry. After drying paint, the
idol again with Dark Green colour from Water based Glass Colour kit. Let it dry.
8. Stick the Ganesh idol on the painted coaster with Fevicol. Let it dry
9. Stick the golden ribbon from the rear side of the coaster with Fevicol A+. Leave it to dry.
Project - Mosaic Lamp shade

Materials Required: Fevicryl glass colours, Fevicryl 3D outliner – Glitter gold, Popsicle sticks, Fevicol A+,
Golden thread, A3 size OHP sheet, Scissors

Procedure:

• Make four, 5 by 5 inches adjacent squares on the OHP sheet.

• Draw random mosaic with Fevicryl 3D– Glitter gold on the OHP sheet.
• Leave it to dry.
• Fill the mosaic with myriad Fevicryl Glass Colours.
• Leave it to dry. Cut the strip with the mosaic.
• Stick 4 Popsicle sticks at the vertical edge of each square two in front and two behind with
Fevicol A+. Leave it to dry.
• Press and crease the sheet in between the Popsicle sticks to create a sharp edge.
• Stick the golden thread at four corners. Let it dry. The lamp is ready.
PROJECT NAME: Aluminum plates decor
MATERIAL: Fevicryl Acrylic Colours White 27, Teal Blue 68, Coral Red 66, Fevicryl 3 D Cone Outliner
White 707, Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colours, Fevicol MR, Fine Art Brushes, Aluminum Plates, A4 Sized
White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Metal Hooks, Mouldit Tissue Paper, Water Container, Colour
Palette, Scissors
METHOD:

• Take 3 plain aluminum plates. Take tissue paper and stick the paper to the plate using Fevicol MR
to create the base for the painting.
• Take an A4 sized white paper. Draw designs in the size of the aluminum plate. Trace the same
designs on the plates using yellow carbon paper. Refer to the image.
• Outline the jail design with 3 D Cone Outliner White 707. Paint few areas from the design using
Acrylic Colours Teal Blue 68 and Coral Red 66. Leave it to dry completely.
• Paint the rest design with Fevicryl glass colours. Leave it to dry.
• Now, create the border design using 3 D Cone Outliner White 707 and glass colours. Leave it to
dry completely.
• At the end attach the hooks to the plate using a bit of Mouldit. Let it dry.
PROJECT NAME: Fruit coasters
PRODUCT: Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Lemon
Yellow 11, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, White 27, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Fevicryl Water Based Glass

MATERIAL: Rolling Pin, Paper Cutter, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container
METHOD:

• We are going to make the coasters using Mouldit and Fevicol A+ to make the texture and Glass
Colours for colouring.
• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
• Take the dough, roll it to make the medium thin slab with rolling pin.
• Mark and cut 4 circles after the slab get semi dry, measuring 4” diameter in size.
• Draw the details of 4 slices of the fruits on it.
• Create the seeds and the inner texture on the surface of the fruit with Fevicol A+.
• Let it dry completely.
• Paint the fruit slice coasters with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03,
Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, White 27, Deep Brilliant Purple 64
Water Based Glass Colours Tomato Red, White, Golden Yellow, Crystal Green, Orange and Pink.
• Let it dry completely.
PROJECT NAME: CD T-Lite Holder
MATERIAL: Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colours, Fevicol A+ Fevicryl Mouldit, CD, Small Cut Mirrors,
Talcum Powder, OHP Sheet, Rolling Pin
METHOD:
• Take a CD. Paint the CD with Glass Colour of your choice.
• Mix Mouldit resin and hardener.
• Make coils, small leaves, rose flowers with Mouldit. Stick them on the CD with Fevicol A+.
• Stick the mirrors intermittently.
• Paint the flowers with a lighter shade of the base using a brush and let it dry.
• Your CD T-Lite holder is ready.
