 ABSTRACT

This project entitled to “Hospital Management System”. Hospital Management System

is a python program that can arrange appointments with doctors. The sole purpose of the system
is to organize the patient data and make the appointment meeting convenient for both doctor and
patient.

This program was developed using only python language. The project is a console application
where you can navigate via entering certain numeric keys. The system can make user work faster
and reliable when it comes by inputting data. Using this system you can efficiently check the
patient details such as the room detail, appointed doctor and departments.

The system is consisting of two users, the user and the admin. The admin side is protected by an
encrypting password before accessing the features, after login he/she is responsible for inputting
patient information, setting an appointment, doctor information, and updating the status. While
the user only capable for viewing the available doctors, patient details, appointed meetings, and
available departments.

 To View Hospital’s Departments Menu: This is where you can view the list of available
departments.

 To View Hospital’s Doctor’s Menu: This is where you can view the list of available
doctor’s.

 To View Patient’s Resident’s Menu: From here you can display the list of all patients’
residents.

 To View Patient’s Detail’s Menu: From here you can display the full information of a
patient.

 To View Doctor’s Appointment’s Menu: In this menu you can check whether there is an
available appointment.

ADMIN SIDE:

 To Manage Patient’s Menu: This is where you can manage the information of a patient.
You can add new patient, delete patient, and update the details.

 To Manage Doctor’s Menu: This is where you can manage the information of doctor’s
such as adding new doctor, delete a doctor, and update doctor information.

 To Manage Appointment Menu: From here you can book an appointment by entering the
required details. You can also update the appoint detail and cancel an appointment.
