Matrix PPT Final

Matrices can be used to represent systems of linear equations. There are three cases for solving a system of linear equations using matrices: 1) The system has a unique solution if the rank of the augmented matrix is equal to the number of variables. 2) The system has no solution if the rank of the augmented matrix is less than the number of variables. 3) The system has infinite solutions if the rank of the augmented matrix is equal to the rank of the original matrix. Matrices have important applications in areas like computer graphics, electrical circuits, economics, and optics.
