Supply

The supply of the ingredients is everywhere but researchers found good deals from
different suppliers here in Pangasinan. Elrose Kitchen and Baking Supplies will be
the supplier for the butter, all purpose flour, and skim milk, Jabryca Food Product
will be the supplier for Malunggay Flakes and lastly, JES Merchandise for the
sugar. They offer cheaper price and deliver the products straight at your doorstep.

Since consuners live in a tropical region, malunggay can be found growing year-
round. Researchers look forward to produce 136 polvoron for every 1 ½ cup of
malunggay flakes. The supply of the product depends on its price and cost of
production. As you can see all prices are rising this 2022 and in the long-term, the
Philippines Producer Prices Change is projected to trend around 1.50 percent in
2023, according to econometric model.

V. SWOT Analysis
SWOT Analysis helps the researchers to determine the strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, and threats of the company, firm or businesses. It will also assist the
researchers in developing a strategy for marketing the product to consumers, as
well as determining how they might meet their customer's preferences and laying a
firmer foundation for the product to last longer in the market.
Strength
One of the strength of Sweet Avenue is to deliver a new flavor of polvoron that
will surely catch the attention and curiosity of the consumers. People love to
explore and try new food but always consider their budget, Sweet Avenue's
malunggay polvoron got you. The affordability and healthy benefits of the product
will definitely make you buy again and will prove to you that the company's
tagline "One is not enough!" is undoubtable.

More importantly, Sweet Avenue will also contribute to the farmers as malunggay
is the main ingredient of the product, researchers expect that it will also contribute
to the income of farmers especially when the demand increases.
Weaknesses
The product’s ingredients are new to the consumer’s preferences so it would not be
easy for the company to convince its consumers about the new product. Also, the
reaserchers experience in the production of polvoron is lacking since everyone in
the company is a first timer it will be difficult to achieve the consistency and the
right blend of the ingredients but researchers are always willing to learn in order to
improve in the field. In addition, company is new entrant in the industry,
researchers expect a high competitons to other producers since most of them are
well-known and well established but to address those certain situations is that our
product aims to promote the health content that helps people to satisfy their
cravings. Furthermore, not all consumers eat vegetable and Sweet Avenue only
provide one flavor but tthy are willing to create a new flavor for the customers
who would love to try new flavors.

Opportunities
As people adapt to post-COVID living many people decided to change their eating
habits, Sweet Avenue found a light and a door to enter the industry. Furthermore,
because of the growing population it can also attract a wider and larger consumers
whether young or old, anyone can enjoy the malunggay polvoron guilt-free. Since
it will be located at Dagupan City, it will also open doors for the residents of
Dagupan City to have a job. Sweet Avenue could hire an employee and provide
them for a living.
Threats
There are a lot of existing strong brands locally and globally so it will affect our
company by decreasing our sales revenue. Also, the occurrence of the natural
disasters will affect the company in a way that the production will be delayed, the
sales will be less than the usual.

In addition, natural disasters are inevitable, if our supplier for malunggay flakes
suffers from natural disaster, the business will purchase ingredients of malunggay
polvoron in other areas outside Dagupan City, Pangasinan which also supplies
malunggay flakes. Another threat is the rising prices, everyone is aware that all of
a sudden prices go up and it is because of the fast growing economy. To solve this
kind of issue, the best way to do is to alter the size of the polvoron and conserve
the supply of ingredients. Lastly is the change of consumer’s preferences,
consumer tastes are powerful that they can change how a business change the
activity but researchers are willing to accept any suggestions from consumers.
