Cambridge Factor

Cambridge Factor is an international Olympiad event manage by EDUSISWA.

The Cambridge Factor expands upon the success of the previous EDUSISWA
competition, the OSSBN (National Language Art Science Olympiad), which had
already taken place.
Cambridge Factor modifies the Cambridge curriculum to include numerous
more Olympic disciplines, such as the arts and culture.
There are several category fields in Cambridge Factor:

 TECHNICAL GUIDELINES
ONLINE TEST
(Science, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Coding, English, Drawing)
1. Participants can enter the Zoom link 45 minutes before the olympiad.
2. Participants must join with two devices (a laptop and a webcam).

 3. Participants change the Zoom name in two formats:
o Device 1 (webcam):
▪ Format: Participant ID (space) Full Name
▪ Example: 4538TFR735KKL Farida Maharani Putri
o Device 2 (laptop):
▪ Format: Participant ID (space) School Name
▪ Example: 4538TFR735KKL SMPN 2 Tangerang
4. Participant IDs will be sent via email with the subject: “ICFO 2023“.
5. Participants who do not change their zoom name (point 3) will be removed
from the Zoom meeting at 2:00 PM.
6. The question will be available right at 2:00 PM.
7. Participants must turn on the camera in a position like the following example:
This is the CORRECT camera placement.

1. The participant sets the camera next to their body and displays half of their
face, the side of their laptop, and a portion of their torso.
2. Participants should not sit too far back from the camera, place the camera
behind the laptop, or place the camera too far.
Here are examples of INCORRECT camera placement.

Do not place the camera behind a laptop.

No one else is allowed in the exam room, and face must be clearly visible.

Participants must display face, torso and laptop screen.

Drawing competition:

 1. Participants should prepare A5 size paper (half A4) or canvas to color with
crayons/watercolors/markers/palettes, etc.
2. Participant must sketch by hand; digital drawings are not accepted.
3. After the timer runs out, the participant takes a photo/scan the drawing and
sends it to the following URL (Elementary students might require assistance
from adults).

5. Camera placements rules for drawing competition:
a. Make sure the face and the paper are both clearly visible by positioning
the camera around the body.
b. There is only one participant in the examination room (no parent or
relative is around).
c. The camera is not blocking or covering the canvas.

ONLINE SUBMISSION
(Music, Ballet, Dance)
1. Participants are encouraged to read the syllabus
2. The deadline for video submissions is December 17, 2023.
The duration of the video is between 3 – 10 minutes.
3. Only individuals can compete in this event.
4. If registering as a group, participants must register as many as the total
number of people in the group. (This is so that each person who won a medal
can receive a medal of their own)

(Drawing & Coding)
1. Participants in the drawing and coding competitions must take an online test
and submit their projects within 10 minutes after the exam ends.
2. The syllabus of drawing competition is already uploaded; please read it
carefully.
3. The exam for coding is presented as a visual code project
(Scratch/Robomind) with no theoretical or multiple-choice question.
4. Coding participants has 10 minutes to upload the project after the timer goes
