About Sangathan
AMITY University conducts a remarkable inter-institutional sports and cultural event every
year in the month of October. The mega event is warmly known as ‘SANGATHAN’ that
commemorates the birth anniversary of the founder president Dr. Ashok Chouhan. This event
is organized at the Amity Head Quarters as well as in all the Amity campuses around the world.
In this mega event at Amity University, Patna; students will get the chance to compete in the
sports events like; Chess, Table Tennis, Carom, Football, Tug of War, Basketball,
Volleyball, 100m sprint, Snake & Ladder (For Fun) and Cricket.

Note:
1. In Carom, Table Tennis students from the same batch (Programme & Semester) can participate in
doubles.
2. Students can participate in the events by registering themselves through the Google Form Link shared.
3. For participating in more than one event (More than one sports event), students need to register separately
(By filling separate forms).

1. For Boys: Games consist of 8 overs per innings till Semi-final 12 overs per inning for final,
unless reduced by the officials.
2. For Girls: Games consist of 6 overs per innings till Semi-final 8 overs per inning for final,
unless reduced by the officials.
3. For Boys: Bowlers are limited to ball maximum of 2 overs (for 8 overs match) and
maximum of 3 overs (for 12 overs match).
4. For Girls: 2 Bowlers can ball maximum of 2 overs and 2 Bowlers can ball 1 over (for 6
overs match) and maximum of 2 overs (for 8 overs match).
Please note: The tournament depends entirely on the spirit of cricket & everyone demonstrating
respect, fairness & friendship for each other & the game.
Students are required to keep their Amity Identity-Card and wear Amity T-Shirt while
visiting PT Ground, Cantonment, Danapur.
Notes:
1. The event in charges is requested to keep record (Full Name, Program with Semester) of
all the winners, runner ups (2nd & 3rd) and all the participants of each event. They can take
help of the Student Coordinators.
2. The organizing committee for the respective events should collect the required resources
from the sports department (Prof. Srikant Manubansh & Dr. Kishore Bhattacharjee) prior
to the sport events.
3. It is the responsibility of the respective committees to take care of the sport kits and
equipment of the University.
4. It is the responsibility of the respective committees to return the kits and equipment after
the events to the sports department.
5. The committee members are requested to be present at the venue prior to the
commencement of the sport events. It is mandatory for all the committee members to
be present at the venue to ensure the smooth conduct of the events.
