I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:
a. Define oneself,
b. explain that knowing oneself can make a person accept his/her
strengths and limitations and dealing with others better, and
c. value the importance of knowing oneself through applying in real life

V. PROCEDURES
Introductory a. Teacher asks someone from the class to lead the prayer.
Activity b. Greet the students and ask them to seat properly.
(5 minutes). c. Teacher checks the attendance.
Activity/Strategy Activity 1: “Guess Who?”
(20 minutes). - Let the students write 2 things about themselves on a piece of paper.
(habit, characteristic, unique experience)
- After writing, they will be allowed to go around the classroom to
show their paper.
- Teacher will collect all their papers.
- The students will be asked to group themselves: 5 members per
group.
- Each group will be given a marker and pieces of paper where they
can write their answers.
- The teacher will be reading the content of 1 paper to the students.
Each group will now try to determine who the teacher is describing.
They write their answer on the piece of paper within 5 seconds. All
groups must raise their paper so that the teacher can check which
groups got the right answer.
- The group with the most number of correct answers win.
Analysis 1. Did you enjoy the activity?
(5 minutes). 2. Do you find it hard to answer the questions?
3. What realizations as you were writing and describing yourself?

Abstraction Inputting: Power point presentation
(10 minutes).
1. What are the 3 aspects or domains of human development.
1. Physical development –body, brain, motor, sensory skills
- physical health

2. Cognitive development - capacity to learn, speak, understand,


reason, and create.

3. Psychosocial development – social interactions with other


people, emotions, attitudes, self-identity, personality, beliefs, and
values.

her personal development?

- The age and stage of development influenced his or her personality


development is because as a person grows or ages will encountered
and learn new things that'll help himself develop.

- As a person grows old he or she becomes matured and that


influences her or him personality development.

3. What factors affecting/influencing human development?

3. Maturation -cognitive, psychological, social dimensions

- Influence of physical maturation over a person’s development is most


pronounced during his childhood and adolescence stages.

Application Post-Lesson Activities:


(10 minutes). 1. Distribute a worksheet with questions related to the lesson content.
2. Review the answers together as a class, allowing students to ask questions
for clarification.
3. Assign a reflective writing task where students can express their personal
experiences with developmental tasks and challenges.
4. Encourage students to share their reflections with a partner or in small
groups.
5. Conclude the lesson with a class discussion about the significance of
understanding these tasks and challenges for personal growth.
