IBM i PASE shells and utilities

IBM® i Portable Application Solutions Environment (IBM i PASE) includes three shells (Korn, Bourne,
and C Shell) and provides many utilities that run as IBM i PASE programs. IBM i PASE shells and
utilities provide an extensible scripting environment that includes a large number of industry-standard
and defacto-standard commands.

The IBM i PASE default shell (/QOpenSys/usr/bin/sh) is the Korn shell.
