    Parkinson’s disease

    Introduction
    Did you know that men are 1.5x to get Parkinson's then women? Parkinson’s is a
    disease that affects the nervous system and it cannot be cured. It can make you more at
    risk to get it if you are exposed to toxic chemicals as a fetus. It can also be genes.it is
    very unfortunate.

    Symptoms
    A symptom of parkinson’s is tremors. People with Parkinston’s have tremors in the arm or
    hand. It makes movement almost impossible. The people that had this disease described
    the feeling if they were frozen. In rare cases it would cause memory problems or
    depression. Those are the symptoms of parkinson's.
    Causes
    Do you know the causes of it? In the body the brain will take years to realize that it is
    being attacked by it. The brain has something deep inside of the brain.it is two brain cells
    called the substantia nigra. It helps your movement and it can produce dopamine that
    sends signals to the body. Then the disease slowly makes the nigra unable to make
    dopamine making the muscles act strangely and tighten. by the time they notice 80% of
    cells have died. Another cause is if you are exposed to toxins as a fetus or genes.
    Technology
    In order to diagnose Parkinston’s they will need to find if the symptoms are from
    something else. So they run blood tests and brain tests. They also rely on your medical
    history and they will have to run a physical exam. They can also slow the disease down by
    putting a deep brain stimulator. (DBS) in your brain and stop the tremors.
    Cures
    Sadly there is no cure for Parkinson's but there is a medicine called levodopa (L-dopa) to
    help you to be able to walk and move. Also the DBS will stop the tremors from happening.
    It is also found that eating targeted nutrition will slow it down. The levodopa helps by
    putting dopamine and the DBS is implanted into the brain. Dopamine agonists mimic
    dopamine to help with the disease.
    Conclusion
    Parkinson disease is very unfortunate to people all over the world, it paralyzes them so
    much, it makes them unable to move. Luckily, doctors have made medicine to give people a
    chance to move and walk. I hope that you are very grateful for being able to have fun and
