3. A Buck converter is a step down DC-DC converter consisting mainly of inductor and
two switches (usually a transistor switch and a diode). It switches the connection of
inductor to source voltage to accumulate energy in inductor and then disconnects the
source for discharging the inductors energy to the load. Clearly, the control input to
the system is the source voltage (Vin) and the system output is the voltage across
the load (V,). Following are the equations according to Kirchhoff's laws during its on
