‐ English level: beginner. Number of students: 10
‐ Characteristics: they can work on their own, they are active learners
‐ Teaching period: 50 mins
I. OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

− memorize some new words about body parts

− understand short stories

− practice their listening and speaking skills by engaging in classroom activities

− distinguish “these are” & “this is” and use them

II. RECENT WORK (5mins)

− students learn about singular nouns and plural nouns: singular nouns don’t have

“s” at the end of the word while plural nouns do. Singular nouns have more than
1, plural nouns have just 1.

A. Warm-up (2 minutes)
a) Objective: Introduce the new lesson by warming up students' bodies and help them to
acquire new vocabulary, attract students’ attention and raise their interest by a short
activity

apply directly them to new words they have just learned. Students can reinforce new
vocabulary by answering the question in textbook.

answer.
c) Outcomes: Students read and finish the task by using their own knowledge and
consolidating the new lesson

to choose the correct answer.

Solution: have them engage in the activities, pace the lesson appropriately.

Solution: set classroom rules, use positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior.
