Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

 Strong experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline in open source tooling .Build end-to-end CI/CD,
deployment pipeline for microservices based application for cloud platforms incorporating best
practices
 Expertise in setting up end to end Automated DevOps pipeline in Dev, QA and Production
Environments for Onpremise, Hybrid & cloud native product/platform, addressing NFR – scale,
resilience, availability along with high quality high frequency product releases
 Expertise in the required Tooling to be integarted into the pipeline with DevSecOps and Security
in mind
 Experience in Branching Strategies, Build Job development, Deployment Packaging, and
Environment Automation
 Strong expertise in scripting language and Infrastructure as a Code
 Ability to quickly learn and understand microservice based platform requirements on Cloud and
participate in development/support on new/existing implementations
 Collaborate with other team members, front-end developers, QA team, designers, and project
managers to solve issues, problems and deliver the project milestones
 Excellent Communication skills and ability to interact and manage customer expectations.
Collaborate among teams & have constructive discussions with customer's product teams to
share insights

Skills

Must Have:

 Must have 6+ years of experience in automated DevOps pipeline creation experience and CI /
CD experience using Jenkins
 Strong experience in Docker and Kubernetes
 Be able to fully deploy Microservices on Cloud and also familiar with Edge based systems.
Should also have experience with any private cloud
 Should have experience with Security tooling and DevSecops
 Exposure with DevOps tools: Git/GitHub, Github Actions, Code Commit, Code Pipeline, Code
Build, Ansible, Terraform, Cloud Formation, Gradle, Maven Ansible, Artifactory, SonarQube, and
SCM (like Git, SVN)
 Experience in Scripting language (Python)
 Experience in Open-source technologies e.g. Kafka, Cassandra, Consul, Elasticsearch, Redis,
Vault
 Experience in Monitoring & observability Tools and Able to visualize & understand core
components needed for a Cloud based platform like Application services, Infrastructure services
etc

Nice to Have:
 Experience with Cloud Architecture, Cloud networking, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Building
CI/CD pipelines, IaC Automation
 Should have a view of the non functional aspects (performance, Latency, high availability) of
complex enterprise systems
 Experience with Hybrid systems which span across Edge and Cloud
