(218.4⁰, 88.3V, 160V, 4.4A, 6.3A, 793.8W, 0.57) 3) A resistive load of 50 Ω is connected through a full-wave diode rectifier circuit to 50Hz, single-phase source. If the power delivered to the load is 1000 W, find the RMS source voltage. (223.6V) 4) If a 220V, 50Hz source is driving a RL-load (highly inductive load) through full-wave uncontrolled rectifier. Find the average load voltage and current, and resistance if the output power is 780W. (198V, 50.3Ω, 3.94A) 5) A resistive load of 10 Ω is connected through a half-wave SCR circuit to 220V, 50Hz, single-phase source. Calculate the average load voltage and the output power for a firing angle of 30. (92.4V, 2350W) 6) A single-phase half-wave controlled rectifier is operated from 120V, 50Hz source and the load resistance is R=30 Ω. Calculate the firing angle delay if the output average voltage equal 25% of its maximum possible value. (120⁰) 7) A resistive load of 2350W is connected through a full-wave SCR circuit to 220V, 50Hz, single-phase source. Calculate the average load voltage and resistance for a firing angle of 30. (184.8V, 20Ω) 8) A single-phase full-wave controlled rectifier is supplied from 230V, 50Hz source. The load consist of R=10 Ω and a large inductance. For a firing angle of 60, determine average output voltage and the input power factor. (103.5V, 0.5)
