Past
Road trip to the beach
Read the following text and identify the verbs in the past tense.

Last week I went to the beach with my family. It was a little

improvised so we took a few things and hit the road.

We only did one stop, to pee and buy some snacks. After that, we
went back to the road. Once we got there, we rented a tent and two
chairs. I threw my towel on the sand and I laid over it.

After I tanned a little bit with the sun, I went to the sea
and swam for a while. My brother and I drank a few
glasses of rum with coke, my dad drank beer and my
mom just had a little bit of orange juice.
Road trip to the beach

At noon we had some fish and fries for lunch. After that, the four of
us went to take a swim in the beach.

Around 05:00 PM we went back to the road and drove back home
for about two hours.

It was a pretty fun trip to make with the family. We had a great time
together and I also have a cute tan.
