In the darkness of night, we give thanks for light.

Advent Candle Lighting
Praise and thanksgiving, thanks be to God.
We light a candle of hope: Thanks for the food we eat,
hope for ourselves, and for God’s beloved world. And for the friends we meet.
We light a candle of peace: For each new day we greet
peace in our hearts, and on earth. Thanks Be to God!

We light a candle of joy:
